Your never completely safe

With the meeting over, the three girls left my office.

“Tabitha can you stay for a moment?”

She turned to Aster.

“Go and have a look around the club….familiarise yourself with the emergency exits….private dance rooms….bars….I will be with you shortly”

I asked her to shut the door.

“So what do you think?”

“Aster is beautiful….she will be a sure fire hit”

“What do you think about Christina…..any chance you could separate the two of them”

“I will see what I can do”

I got the impression from talking that Aster was only doing this so that her girlfriend Christina would be there with her…..but the punters would soon think a scam was being pulled if she chose her girlfriend to give the private lap dances to.

“Ok…..I get what you mean…..do you want me to get one of the girls to make a play for Christina?”

“Im not sure that would work…..maybe you could get up close and personal with Aster”.

Tabitha left the room.

Of course Aster or Christina had no idea of who I really was……I chose the mother of Gemma because she was known to both of them…..I know that Christina was trying to hide something from me.

During my self imposed exile after having to escape from Therese the first time I was able to acquire the body of a shapeshifter…..just prior to Therese disappearing it appeared as though she had destroyed all the bodies I had taken possession of…..but the shape changing ability is still within me.

I walked to the mirror.

My face began to warp…..split…..regenerate…..change….

“Ah that’s better”

Once again…..I was Michelle Delaney.

Of course I wasn’t really here at all…..just a projection….but it did the trick to convince Aster and Christina…..I would always be close.

Now I just had to get the two of them separated and destroy their confidence.
