Chapter 1

As per usual, one lazy afternoon, I was scrolling through Snapchat to see if I can talk to someone. Ohh look, Shawn posted a snap, him winking and caption:
"Deal, see you at 7", posted 2 seconds ago.

Woah I was fast, i screenshoted it and kept watching other stories. Not a moment later I got a notification: "Shawn Mendes sent you a snap".

I actually just blinked and stared at notification like: WAIT WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?; I clicked on it. A selfie of Shawn, with caption:
"Please delete your screenshot".

I was shaking but I couldn't resist to ask:
"Why?",
the answer was pretty quick:
"It was not mentioned for My Story, ur the only one who screenshoted"
I have to admit, that was a compliment for a fangirl like me.

"Okay" i wrote as a caption of my screenshoted gallery just to prove him that i did delete it. I was still in shock, I mean I just had a conversation with Shawn fucking Mendes.

I expected him to go away the moment I told him I have deleted the screenshot, but no, he answered with
"Thanks, that means a lot". I was still kinda: wtf, because why is it such a big deal if someone sees it, but I didn't wanna ask anything, I suspected that it would be insulting, so I just said:
"No problem",

and there comes the unexpected part, he starts explaining himself:
"It was for my manager but i dont want the fans to make drama thinking its about a girl or something like that".
-" You don't have to explain, it's none of my business".
-" Thats so nice from u, thank u, oh and whats your name?"

I'm in shock, shaking, dying tbh, my first thought was: OMG Shawn wants to know my name, but then i realized my snapchat name was Cara, which is my actual name.

OMG he actually wanted to talk to me. To this point i was jumping around my room like an idiot.
-" I'm Cara"
-" Nice to meet u, do u wanna talk?"

At that moment I thought I was gonna pee my pants.
-" Yes of course omg" I tried not to fangirl too much but it was stronger than me.
