Awkward....
Tensed....
Absolutely Irritating. ...
That's how the atmosphere of this so called breakfast was. That's how you could described Anna's 'oh-so-good' first morning in the glorious and extravagant White Rose Mansion.
Silence...
A long nasty akward and more specifically...tensed silence.
Anna still couldn't believe it. What had she done to deserve to be in the same mansion as him. Under other circumstances, she wouldn't have a problem. If she hadn't meet him in the academy that day and in that way, none of this would have happened. Maybe things would have been different....
But now....?
What happened, happened. She needed to face it. Her days in this mansion won't be easy. Hell, she was sure, he won't make them easy. His hard cold icy glare was giving her the clues for it. Besides ... She herself had a strange and uneasy premonition earlier.
She didn't like it. And neither did he.
That was for sure...
Right?
The table was like a pigeon trap. A dozen different forks and knives and spoons. Six different goblets. All of them just waiting to be knocked over or misapplied and mishandled. It’s a wonder anyone was ever tempted to eat.
But today that was not the only reason...
The dinning area had been separated into three groups. Or...four? Sean was his own group. He was literally in his own sleepy world, not caring about the glaring contests or the tensed and awkward atmosphere around the room. Anna would have been curious and intrigued to question him as to why he was sleeping so much and all the time as if he hadn't slept in ages, but...
She decided against the idea.
That wasn't the case now. That wasn't her problem now... She was in her own glaring competition. And guess with who...
Tristan Vermillion King
She wanted to win this match. Hell, she needed to. No matter what. She had to show him that he couldn't control her as he controls everyone else just because he was the prince.
Tristan's icy hard and furious gaze was quite obvious. Just as obvious and intense as hers. But... There was also something else. Something that Anna couldn't quite catch. Like he was mentally finding the whole situation amusing and intriguing... Annabella couldn't understand him. He was too complicated and madly confusing. Something that did not help to easy the tension as it was infuriating her even more.
Was he serious now!?
Blayze from the other hand, was looking as if he was about to explode. And he had already set his hard murderous glare on his target. Remus. He was clenching not only his strong jaw but also his poor spoon so tightly, that Anna thought it will break from the pressure. Anna could tell that he was fighting against the idea of beating an infuriatingly amused and smugfull looking Remus with it. Although, Remus was trying his hardest to look angry too, this wasn't the case here. He was finding the situation amusing too.
She couldn't believe it...
Although, she wasn't that shocked about it. Of course, Remus was finding it quite amusing. After all, It was in his DNA.
From the people sitting on this particular table... Let's just say Marina was in the worst position possible.
Awkwardness and worry were written all over her sweet beautiful features. Her mesmerizing violet orbes held all the dilemma she was obviously trying to make her way out of. She was slightly looking at all of them but keep glancing especially at Anna's versus Tristan's glaring competition. When it came to those two, she just wasn't sure if she should laugh or not at them. Especially after their unique meeting.
