She couldn't fathom what had happened...
She couldn't believe what she had done or more specifically how she it...?
Anna had woken up the next day in Tenjin's house, again, although this time she wasn't the one severely injured or...
probably drained...
How could she even drain him in the first place...?
Had she catch Daniel's disorted mentality last time she encountered him and when he was the one who wanted to drain her?
Impossible.
It was impossible... Yet, the unexpected happened.
She didn't want to do such a thing, especially to Ethan, but somehow she did it... Hell, she didn't even know she could do something like that in the first place. She didn't want to hurt him... She thought she killed him. Maybe she could. Anna still couldn't forget about Ethan's painful and lifeless expression. It haunted her from the moment she woke up the next morning. It was horrifying...
And it was being replayed in her head οver and over again.
Anna's head was away too buzzed. Not only by her maddening thoughts but also by the incident's effectiveness. The effects and aftermath of taking Ethan's energy still lingered in her body. She was feeling his energy floating inside her veins, alongside her own magical source, like a burning disease. Making uncontrollable goosebumps rose upon her overflowing skin, ready to explode. Yet, not being as overwhelming as the moment she took it.
It was statically fading...
For that she was glad.
She sighed...
Her headache wasn't giving her the time of the day.
Anna felt horrible. Guilty and horrible. And the worst thing was that she didn't even know where Daniel and his identical evil clone had gone. Where had they disappeared. She was absolutely sure she hadn't hullicanated them.
The only thing she managed to catch from the running and gossiping maids of the Winchester household was that she and Ethan were found by the cafe's waitress, both unconscious, outside, in the cold and chilling night. Passed out at the cafe's parking lot.
Nothing else...
Nothing about Ethan's current condition. Nothing about his well being. Something that was maddening her inside, increasing her guilt and worry. Anna wanted to know that he was ok. That he didn't...
She instantly shook her head, dismissing the horrible thought.
Anna was sitting in Tenjin's eerily and quiet office, leaning onto her hands which were resting on her thighs. Every person would have been mesmerized by the beautifully Victorian style office but this particular moment, she felt like it was suffocating her.
She was awaiting for Tenjin, a person she wasn't ready to face after what she had done to his son. She didn't want to see his reaction. Or his expressionless and blank gaze of disapproval that she was getting every time he passed her in the restless corridors, going to see his son. Although, Anna didn't expect anything less.
He had every right to be angry....
Suddenly, the office door opened, allowing a person's built frame to pass through, closing the same door behind him with a thud. Tenjin made his way around the massive office desk with his collecting steps echoing calmly but strictly on the dark wooden surface of the floor. Anna didn't once looked at his frame as he did so.
