"Chachee help me with dupatta," Khadija came struggling with a long cotton dupatta and with a frown standing in front of me.

"Okay, okay stop fighting with it," I said with a chuckle placing my prayer mat on the sofa. Currently all the ladies were in the lounge of mama and baba's house preparing for fajar as boys went to masjid.

Today we all were finally going on a much awaited picnic which Wali and I were able to get every elder agree on when we came four days ago. It was a real struggle to make everyone understand that our entire family needs to do an outing before we go back coming Wednesday and get busy with our schedules, so finally with a lot of planning and getting Sabih to ask his friend for a hut on the beach we all are supposed to leave in couple of hours. According to the plan first we will be stopping for our early morning breakfast plan and then continue our journey.

"Done," I smiled and Khadija beamed. "Let's go and pray, shall we?" I asked standing up picking my prayer mat and Khadija eagerly nodded clutching her small one and following me where everyone was already standing.

By the time we were done praying the sky was in the light shade of blue and all the men were sitting in the lawn waiting for their tea, so Rafia, Rumaisa and I asked all the ladies to go join them before we serve the tea and finally get ready to leave. While Rumaisa was fixing tea and Rafia worked on coffee I quickly dish out sandwiches to kill the extreme hunger all the men were complaining about, setting up the tray girls and I walked out talking about the excitement about the picnic as all of us gathered last night so that we can leave together today, Rumaisa was telling how hard it was to put Khadija to bed as the little girl was excited to sit with the elders. Rafia and I were laughing on all the methods Rumaisa used.

"My bhabis are literally the saviors!" Abeer cheered while Sabih and Zaydan loudly agreed, the three jumping on their feet making their way toward us and picking their coffee and tea along with sandwiches while others were teasing them from behind.

After serving everyone the three of us also made our way towards where our husbands were sitting and enjoyed our coffess listening to all the precautions baba and uncles were giving.

"So instead of having a online movies and chill sunday with you I have to enjoy it with my family," Wali looked at me with a dramatic frown making me choke on my coffee and he smirked.

"Haye Khadija kia hoa?" I heard phupo and glaring at Wali I turned to her, "Kuch nahi phupo coffee bahot garam thi," I stupidly stated and heard Rumaisa snicker beside me.

"Acha bachon! go get ready if you all really want to go across the city and have halwa poori too." Baba quickly gained everyone's attention and in few seconds all of us were walking back inside.

After clearing up the kitchen when I walked back to our room Wali was already in the washroom getting ready, I took out a patterned half sleeves button up shirt and a pair of jeans for Wali while a floral long sleeves blouse which was paired with dark jeans and light pink hijab, by the time I was done arranging our bags and picking suitable jewelry to wear Wali was out of the bathroom so wasting no time I quickly went inside to get ready.

I was wrapping my hijab when a slightly stressed Sabih knocked our door and asked Wali to follow him and after ten minutes when Wali returned with his features equally tensed.
