Niall led me to the familiar dining hall where I found all the girls sitting down with the others boys but still no sign of Louis. I mentally sighed and looked to see all the girls with their ridiculous uniforms on causing a small laugh to escape my lips. Several heads shot up at the sound and I ducked my head with a smirk.
I released Niall's hand who took a seat next to Belle. I sat beside Charis who was beside Harry. There was an empty seat between Liam and I that I assumed was supposed to be Louis' seat. This was the first time that everyone was together in one place and I pondered on what the occasion could be.
"You okay? You look like you've seen a ghost." I looked up at Charis who whispered to me while everyone was involved in their own conversations. I hummed in response. "Yeah. I'm fine." She rose an eyebrow and looked at me skeptically before shrugging it off and involving herself in Harry's conversation with Zayn.
I sat across from Claire who sat beside Zayn with two empty seats at the end of the table and Belle and Niall at the other end. I wondered why two seats were empty or why they were even here.
I was interrupted from thoughts as the room silenced. I furrowed my brow and focused my attention at the door where Louis stood fixing his tie. He coughed and ran a hand through his hair before strolling into the room and taking the seat beside mine. He looked different. His button up shirt seemed to fit tight with his larger muscles, he seemed to have gotten a few inches taller, and his eyes seemed to be a brighter blue.
"Sorry I'm late." My eyes widened at his voice. It was deep, deeper than normal. I looked up at him with curious eyes and furrowed brows. He looked down at me and made me feel small even in his seated position. A smile etched his face and a sparkle illuminated in his eyes.
"How are you, babe?" A chill ran down my spine at his suddenly sickening sweet voice. "Good. Where have you been?" His features hardened and his brows knitted together causing me to swallow nervously. "None of your business." He spat harshly never breaking his intense stare with me.
Who would have thought such a simple question could set him off?
His face slowly softened once realizing my frightened state before his eyes roamed my body to meet my eyes once again and smirk to form on his pink lips. "What are you wearing?" "Clothes." I bluntly replied. "Why aren't you wearing the uniform I picked out for you?" I let out a sarcastic laugh and dramatically threw my head back. "Ha! You shouldn't have given me a wardrobe full of clothes if you really wanted me to wear that slutty thing." His eyes narrowed causing my eyes to widen at his sudden angry state.
Neither of us realized that all eyes were on us with plates of food set before us. "Louis, mate." He stood from his seat causing it to screech across the floor. He completely ignored Harry as he slammed the door open and stormed out.
What was that all about?
