Chapter 32

  Before we reached the doors I heard an ear piercing scream come from inside. Niall's ears perked up and he started to run faster ahead of us and busted through the doors. That can't be good. 

  'Louis!' He glanced at me out of the corner of his eye to show he acknowledged my plead. 'What's going on in there?'

  We ran through the open doors and I stopped dead in my tracks. My breathing was heavy and ragged and my heartbeat picked up. A large tan and white wolf had Belle by the arm holding her. Blood dripped down her arm and onto the floor from where he was biting her to keep her still. Louis stepped beside me and growled in warning to the other wolf who I assume is a rogue. Niall was on the floor still in wolf form and blood poured out of his chest and leg.

  'I need to help Niall. He won't be able to heal if he's unconscious.' 'Wait. It's too dangerous right now.' 'He's bleeding badly.' Louis seemed to ignore me as he took a menacing step forward. The rogue made no signs of fear or weariness from Louis' intimidating wolf. I looked to my left to see the other girls clinging to each other in the doorway. Belle was struggling against the rogue trying to get it to let her go, but only making her bleed worse. She finally stopped struggling and met my eyes pleadingly. Harry, Zayn, and Liam came up from behind us and growled lowly in warning to the rogue.

  'We are going to start this. Help Niall and Belle. Stay safe.' I looked to Louis at my right. His eyes were focused solely on the rogue. Anger flared through his golden eyes turning them darker than I could have ever imagined them to be. 'Now!' Louis lunged forward.

  Belle screamed as the rogue threw her to the side and readied himself for Louis' attack. Harry, Liam, and Zayn jumped in quickly and assisted Louis. Belle was crawling towards Niall while crying out for him. He barely lifted his head to look at her and whimpered before lowering his head and closing his eyes. I rushed over towards them and bent my snout down towards Niall. Belle pushed my snout away with concerned eyes watching me. "What are you doing? Don't hurt him." I shook my head and ignored her protests. I licked his wounds clean and he started to shake as his body kicked in to heal itself. He let out a small scream as his healing powers kicked into overdrive to stop the bleeding. 

  I wonder if my gifts work on humans too?

  I knew that Niall would be okay shortly and focused my attention on Belle's arm.

  Might as well give it a shot, I guess.

  I licked her arm and saw the blood sizzle and dry up before she screamed out in pain. I watched as the skin formed over the cut healing itself over completely, leaving no sign of scarring.

  Good thing to know it works on humans too.

  I felt someone nudge me in the stomach and whipped my head around to find Niall looking at me in thanks. I gave him a wolfy smile and nodded briefly. I focused my attention back on the fight taking place in front of us. Harry, Zayn, and Liam had stepped out and were making their way towards us and the other girls who joined Belle on the ground. Charis ran to Harry and flung her arms around his thick furry neck. He nuzzled into her causing her to chuckle half heartedly. I wonder if I can talk to the whole pack or just Louis.

  'Harry?' He looked at me. Guess it worked. 'Whats going on? Where's Louis?' Louis had disappeared during the fight along with the rogue. 'They are fighting.' 'I got that much. Where did they go?' 'The fight led elsewhere.' I rolled my blue wolf eyes causing him to growl. I stared at him cold and hard in warning not to mess with the Luna.

  The girls clung to their mate's necks leaving me with an empty feeling inside of my chest. It was strange having it there as I had never felt it before. 'When will the fight end?' Harry looked at the others before meeting my eyes sympathetically. I furrowed my brow in confusion and my eyes filled with worry.

  'The fight is till the death.'
