"Impossible." The words slipped out of my mouth slightly above a whisper as shock overwhelmed my thoughts. Louis let out an animalistic growl and gold completely took over his natural blue eyes. I looked back up at dark blue eyes that shouldn't even exist anymore. "Y-you're dead." A cocky smirk pulled at his lips and he shook his head, his eyes locking with mine. "Afraid not, sweetheart."

"I told you never to come back." Louis hissed as his grip increasingly tightened on my hips causing a small wince to escape past my lips. His grip loosened automatically but he never met my frightened eyes. "Well, I decided not to listen." Tyler took a taunting step forward with his angered words as his face contorted as the anger took over.

"Leave or die." Louis spoke with clear authority in his tone. It is a tone that I have now placed as his alpha tone he used whenever he wanted people to listen. Tyler cocked his head to the side but never left my eyes.

"Fight.A clearly forced laugh left Louis' lips and his lips pulled into a hard thin line. His golden eyes narrowed into slits. "Death it is." A tight smirk pulled at Louis' lips and he removed his hands from my hips. I shook my head and placed my hands on his face trying desperately to get him to snap out of the angry form that he was going into. "No." I whispered out but he still wouldn't meet my eyes.

I don't even know why I'm trying to stop him from fighting.

I mean I don't care about him. Right?

I shook the thoughts from my head and pulled on Louis' face to force him to look me in the eyes to get him to snap out of turning into a werewolf and destroying things that didn't need to be. His eyes flickered to mine and instantly softened at my concerned features.

"Please." I begged him. "Don't do this." His brow furrowed and he placed his large palm on my cheek rubbing soothing circles with the pad of his thumb. "I have to." I shook my head and pushed back the unknowing tears in my eyes.

Why do I want to cry? This is his choice. I don't care about him.

I repeat these words over and over in my mind but nothing seems to register.

He placed his hands back on my hips placing a kiss to my forehead and leaving his lips to linger there for seconds longer than they should've. He pulled away and gently lifted me from his lap. He placed me steady on my feet and watched me with worried eyes.

"Go inside and wait till I come back." I shook my head rapidly, not wanting him to go into a fight. He placed his hands on my shoulders firmly. "Go."

He released me and turned towards Tyler not bothering to take another glance in my direction. I froze in my spot in front of the fountain unable to move as I watched it all begin in front of me.

Black hair began to grow out of Louis and his muscles grew as he dropped down onto all fours. Fur covered paws took the place of his large hands and his eyes remained golden.

I gulped nervously, but was still unable to move as Tyler remained in human form. Tyler smirked crookedly and tan hair began to grow from him. White fur covered his paws and snout and he stood a few inches shorter than Louis. He was definitely a much smaller wolf and it gave me confidence that Louis could win.

I watched everything intently as they started to pace in a circle staying an equal distance away from each other. They both stopped and stared each other down seeing if the other would flinch. Louis bent down in an attack position and his lips curled showing off his long canines. A low rumble built in his chest before a deep growl escaped causing chills to run down my spine.

I watched in shock as they both lunged at each other.
