Chapter 36

  I looked down in shock as Louis lies in human form in front of me. I whimpered at his current state hoping for some sort of movement but snapped my head up at the sound of a growl. I could feel my eyes darkening as my snout curled up to reveal my sharp canines. A feral growl escaped past my lips as I watched the rogue stare me down with cold, dark eyes. I took a step over my mate's bare body in a protective stance still growling ferociously ready to pounce on the wolf that hurt my mate.

  'Amelia.' I snapped my head back to look at Niall who watched in shock at the situation unfolding in front of him. 'Do not get in my way.'  I growled in my mind as a warning. He took a step back hesitantly knowing that there was nothing that he could do to stop me. I turned my head back to the rogue who studied me carefully with narrowed eyes.

'Amelia, is it?' My wolf eyes widened as I heard his wolf pry into my mind. His corrupt chuckle echoed through my mind making me cringe with the unnatural sound. 'Little Luna has come to the rescue.' I let out a warning bark and got down in a fighting stance ready to attack. I remembered my powers and desperately wanted to use them on Louis right now but I couldn't risk the rogue getting away or anyone else getting hurt because of it.

  'Amelia, please.' I heard Niall beg once more in my mind but I quickly shut off the mind link with him needing to focus on the large creature standing before me.

  'What's your name?' 'Daniel.' I chuckled through my mind. 'Just wanted to know before you die.' A deathly growl left my lips as I jumped into the air. I landed on top of him catching him off guard and slashed my claws into every available piece of him. He let out several yelps and whimpers as my claws connected with his skin. He rolled us so that he was on top snapping his fierce jaws at my face as I backed away desperately. I brought my hind legs beneath his stomach kicking him off of me. I pounced on top of him quickly and snapped at his neck but he kept moving it out of the way. 'Stop moving.' I growled using my special Luna voice hoping that he would submit to it but he didn't budge. 'It won't work on me, sweetheart. I have Alpha blood.'

  I growled and when I had a good position, I tried ripping his throat out before he kicked me off of him. I felt my body collide with the brick wall on the side of the bridge almost going over before crashing onto stone of the bridge. I released a small whimper as the breath was knocked out of me by the force and stood shakily on my paws. I looked up at him warily as I wobbled a bit regaining my balance. He ran towards me and I quickly jumped out of the way falling in an awkward position. I could feel my left leg snap as I landed. I let out a painful howl as I hiked it up and watched ready for Daniel to attack again. Just because I'm hurt doesn't mean I can't defend myself. I growled out and snapped at the air testing him to come at me. He ran towards me again but got knocked out of the air and fell limp instantly. I saw a light brown wolf standing over Daniel's limp body with blood dripping down his muzzle. I limped over to him and looked down at Daniel. 'Thank you.' I looked up again to meet Niall's golden wolf eyes as he bowed dismissively. 'Always.'

  I hobbled over to Louis and looked him over carefully. He still hasn't taught me how to shift and I hated not being able to hold him and cry over his broken body. I carefully laid down beside him and rested my head on his chest and felt it move up and down slightly with each struggled breath but not as much as it should've been.

  I didn't see any visible wounds that haven't already healed so there wasn't really anything I could do but hope.

  'Niall, carry Louis down to the pack doctor please.' I cried out in the mind link at the wolf who saved my life. He shifted back and bent over as I moved my head out of the way so he could lift my mate into the air. He looked at my leg with pain as I still held it in the air. "You need to get that set in order for it to heal right." I ignored his comment and kept my eyes focused on Louis' chest barely moving as his breathing became even more shallow. Niall walked passed me and I followed behind down the stairs limping, never taking my eyes off my handsome mate.

I decided to update cuz I have had a few of you message me if Louis is alive and if he is going to be okay and all I can say is that he is alive at this very moment but it may not last very long. I'm so evil😆 sowwy😁
