Chapter 35

Louis pov

   I purposely drove the fight away from the girls and Amelia not wanting them to accidentally get involved. I growled fiercely as I stalked around Daniel. He never took his eyes away from me as they held amusement and anger in them. He snarled his lip showing his sharp canines which only caused a more fierce growl to rumble in my chest and escape past my snout. 'How dare you come into my kingdom and challenge me.' I continued pacing large circles around him subconsciously bringing him closer to the tower. 'I have right to the crown just as much as you and you know it.' He snapped out at me causing me to snap back taking part of the fur from his back. A small yelp escaped him with the action. I stopped pacing and stood directly in front of him. He knelt down ready to pounce and as soon as he jumped I followed sending him running up the steps of the tower. I chased after him until we reached the top. There were two large towers connected at the top with a large bridge structure as a staple of the castle. He walked back out onto the brick bridge. 

  'If you challenge me at least fight like a man.' I taunted knowing it would send him over the edge. He stopped dead in his tracks releasing a ferocious growl at my words. He bent down into a fighting position. I knelt my blackish gray wolf into a fighting stance as well. 

  I heard Amelia's sweet voice call to me in my mind. I grunted as I launched myself at him answering her back swiftly before focusing solely on the fight and blocking her out of my mind. His claws slashed my left leg causing me to yelp loudly out of instinct. My teeth sunk into the skin on his back and with all my might I slung him into the side of the bridge. He fell limp as his back collided with the brick followed by a significant snap of breaking bones. He wasn't dead and I knew it wouldn't be long before he healed due to the alpha blood running through his veins like I did. I hiked my left leg up keeping an eye on Daniel and licked the wound so it would heal slightly faster. He opened his eyes and stood up cautiously. His eyes snapped to mine and another growl escaped past his lips. He launched himself at me once again catching me unprepared. I tumbled towards the other tower with him slashing at my legs and back trying to get to my neck. I used my hind legs and with all of my force kicked him off of me. His large tan wolf went flying landing halfway between the towers. I wobbled back to my feet and limped towards him. The wounds took longer to heal since I was attacked by an alpha. I stood over him placing my jaw around his neck. 'Say goodbye.'  I could feel the blood seeping into my mouth as I slowly and painfully sunk my teeth in. He fell limp within seconds and before I could continue I heard a small gasp. I unclasped my jaw and whipped my head towards the tower behind me. My beautiful mate stood in wolf form behind me with Niall's wolf behind her. She watched me with worry as blood dripped down my fur. Her gorgeous white fur glistening in the moonlight made my heart thump loudly in my chest. 

  'Louis!' I felt hind legs kicking me with an amount of strength I didn't know was possible throwing me into the roof of the tower directly behind my beautiful angle. I groaned and winced as I landed in the brick and fell down right in front of my mate. Amelia yelped and jumped back. 'Louis! Stay with me! Please!' My eyes started to flutter and I could feel my bones changing back into a human. The pain hit me full force and before I knew it darkness had encased me.
