Chapter 33

  My whole world froze the minute Harry spoke those words. Till the death. Louis will win. Right?  He's the alpha and king. He has to win. 

  My breathing picked up and my wolf sat down tiredly. I felt a hand rest on my shoulder and whipped my head around to be met with green ones. "Let's get this cleaned up." I shook my white head and looked at Niall. 'You have a connection with her right?' He nodded cautiously, looking at me skeptically. 'Tell her I'm fine and it's already healed.' He looked at Belle and zoned out while having a mental conversation with her. She looked back at me with furrowed brows. "You need to get your mind off it. Let me clean your fur in payment." She paused and whispered. "Please."She looked at Niall expecting me to respond, but I didn't. She took it as a yes and stood up slowly. 

  I looked up to find Harry dazed out while watching me carefully. 'We need to get to a safe place. Now.' My wolf eyes widened and I looked towards the safe room. The boys pushed their noses into their mate's backs and shoved them into the safe room's open door. We scrambled down the stairs in a rush and panted out of breath when we finally reached the bottom. 

  'What's going on?' A worried look etched across my face as I waited for some sort of response. 'The rogues have entered the castle.' I gasped and a growl rumbled low in my chest, my expression turning dark with anger. How dare they think they can just ruin my kingdom. How dare they challenge the alpha and king. 

  'Amelia, calm down.' I growled lowly at Niall who watched me carefully. 'Luna. Calm down. Louis would want you to stay here.' I whimpered at the mere mention of his name causing him to look at me sympathetically. 'Stay here. For him.' I closed my eyes and looked away feeling tears begin to well in my eyes. Louis hasn't taught me how to shift yet so I was stuck like this until he was able to. The boys shifted from their wolf forms and only had boxers on. 'I thought myth said when werewolves shifted they were naked back in human form?' Niall laughed out loud before silently responding to me. 'Don't believe myths about us.' 

  I rolled my eyes and looked at Belle who had a warm rag in her hand and was looking at me with caution. She rubbed gently until my blood soaked fur was white once again. It took some soap, water, and patience, but it was back to normal and I was grateful. "She said thank you." I nodded at Niall gratefully when he read my mind. "You're welcome." 

  Charis tried to break some of the tension growing in the room. "Why can't you talk to us but you can talk to them?" I looked at Harry for some sort of explanation because even I didn't know the answer. "Because you guys aren't werewolves. She can only communicate with werewolves in the pack." The room filled with 'ohs' and I waited for another question to pop up and it did. "How come you can talk to us then?" Liam smiled at Dani. "Because I am your mate. Werewolves can only communicate with humans if they are mates." The room once again filled with thoughtful 'ohs' and thoughtful expressions. 

  I lied down, placing my head on top of my paw looking off into the distance with sad eyes. I felt a hand rub my head and a body sit down next to me. "It'll be okay." I glanced up at Claire not bothering to move my head as she continued to scratch it. I heard loud thuds coming from upstairs which caused me to lift my head up. My ears perked up and the boys were at full attention moving to stand in front of us girls. "What?" Claire asked with confusion as to why we were all becoming aware. "There is noise coming from upstairs." "I don't hear anything." "Werewolf senses." Zayn chuckled at Claire and went back to listening and waiting. 

  'Louis?' 'Stay safe where you are.' He grunted back and I knew he was still fighting but he was still alive. I sighed in a small amount of relief with the thought. The banging began to come closer to the safe room. 'They can't break it, right?' No one answered me and that concerned me even more. I heard a loud howl and someone began banging on the safe room door.
