Chapter 15

  I gulped lowly and turned my body so that I was facing Tyler. I stood tall and confident on the outside but on the inside I was slightly fearful of what he might do.

  "Who says?" I cocked a brow as I crossed my arms over my chest and leaned all of my weight onto my right leg. "I say." He spoke firm, holding his ground. "Louis said not to talk to me or touch me." I warned and saw his facial expression twitch before pulling into a smirk. "Well, Louis isn't here now is he?" My eyes widened and I swallowed in nervousness as that thought soon came to my realization. I glanced behind him for some sort of escape route and thought quickly.

  I took a deep breath and brought my arms back to my sides and putting my weight back on both legs. He took a step forward making me instinctively take a step back. His smirk got larger as he took another step forward only resulting in me taking another one back. This continued until he had me pressed against the wall with him a foot away.

  "Where ya gonna go now?" I couldn't help the smirk that began to pull at my lips as I pushed off the wall with full force and slammed my hands against his chest. I shoved him off to the side causing me to trip before regaining my balance and running down the hall I came from.

  I looked back and forth at the intersection and went straight since it was the last option. I heard footsteps gaining, but I didn't dare look back. I didn't want to trip and give him a chance to catch me. I passed a mirror which gave me a view behind me to see that he was gaining quickly. I put all my effort into my legs to keep pulling forward.

  My muscles were begging me to stop and rest and my breaths were becoming ragged and short. My asthma began to kick in and I knew I wouldn't last much longer before not being able to breath. I looked ahead of me desperately and stopped dead in my tracks with my eyes widening. My breaths slowed slightly and became a little more even, but still left me gasping for air. I watched with fearful eyes at what stood before me. I heard footsteps stop behind me causing me to flinch.

  I felt his grimy hand place itself on my shoulder attempting to spin me around. I moved slightly to the side in hopes that he would see what was in front of me. I heard him gasp but I never removed my eyes from the wolf. I watched as he snarled his lip up with his eyes locked on mine and he released a low growl.

  I swallowed as it bent down ready to attack. It started running for us and I ducked down to the side as it jumped on top of Tyler. I kept my arms over my head and hands over my ears to try and block out the shrieking and yelling of Tyler's desperate pleas for help. I stayed curled up in a ball even when the noises stopped afraid of what I might see.
