Since I love you guys, another chapter for today. A small chapter but a chapter nonetheless.

Gil's outfit to the side.

"C'mon get up!" Lucas walked in my room like he owed the place.

"What?" I asked, dumbfounded.

"I said get up and get ready!" He impatiently replied.

"Why? And who even let you in?" I quizzed.

Suddenly his carefree expression turned into a sour one. "Apparently a brother none of us knew about."

His narrowed eyes made me gulp but before I could explain he waved his hands as if to dismiss the matter. "Whatever it is. C'mon we're going on a date!"

I stared at him for a full minute.

"Really? When? Why? How? You didn't even told me before about this date!" I exclaimed.

He rolled his eyes. "Let's be blunt. I like you and I think we should date. Asking you in a cheesy way is too mainstream. So yeah, here I am. Get ready and wear something cute."

My mouth hung open at his straight forwardness. "W-wha....y-you..." I stuttered embarrassingly.

"Don't be so shocked. Ughh be quick, you idiot." He stomped his feet like a child.

I raises my hand in surrender. "Okay okay fine. I will go on a date with you. Give me 20 minutes to get ready."

In all honesty, the gears in my mind were working rapidly. This was a perfect opportunity to take my plan to another level. I will date him and make Aiden jealous as well as regretful for not getting me first.

With that thought in my mind I happily skipped to my closet and picked a cute outfit consisting of a white pair of shorts and a sunflower crop top. I matched it with my black ankle boots. I quickly changed into the outfit.

Returning to my room, I noticed Lucas lazily sitting in my chair. I ignored him for the moment and turned towards my mirror. I applied a thin coat of eyeliner, blush and a peach coloured lip gloss. I did a once over. Not being fully satisfied I quickly braided my hair in a side fishtail. I looked cute. I quickly grabbed my jacket in case it gets cold.

I turned around to see Lucas staring at me intensely. I blushed under his gaze and coughed.

He quickly looked away. I could see his ears turning red causing me to stifle a smile.

"Uh-mm uh you look pretty." He awkwardly complimented me.

I laughed a full blown laugh and pinched his cheeks. "You're too cute." He blushed hard under my gaze.

His hand moved reluctantly towards my own and he intertwined our fingers. I didn't comment. We both walked downstairs hand in hand. However, before we could step out the door I heard my brother calling my name.

"Gil where you going?" He asked with a knowing glint in his eyes.

I sighed in annoyance. "On a date. Bye." I quickly turned around and dragged a confused looking Lucas outside. But before we could get in his car I, once again heard my brothers annoying voice.

"Stay safe, kids. I don't want to be an uncle so soon!" He cheerily shouted after us. Gosh, why does he have to be so embarrassing.

Thankfully, Lucas didn't react on his comment. Once we comfortably settled in the car I finally asked him the question that was running through my mind. "So...where are we going?"

He gave me a small smile. "We're going to a small cafe. We'll meet them there."

"Them?"

"Oh. Didn't I tell you? It's a double date with Aiden and Hanna." He cheerily exclaimed.

I turned my head towards him so fast that I gave myself a whiplash.

Three words.

Fuck my life.

We reached our destination before I could even fully comprehend the situation.

I robotically stepped outside. My excitement from earlier completely vanished. I didn't even feel like asking him how he got acquainted with that jerk. I suddenly felt tired. I wanted to go home and curl up in my bed.

Instead I held my head high and linked my arm through Lucas's.

It's time to slay.
