Jenny POV

The alarm woke me from my peaceful sleep to remind me that today was test day.I was kind of nervous since obviously it was one of my final exams but at the same time I knew I could pass this. I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and take a shower. When I got out, I put on my uniform and walked downstairs to see that my mom had already prepared a relatively big breakfast for me: eggs,bacon,toast and orange juice. My mom always made a special breakfast for us when we had an exam or an important occasion. I thanked her and sat down to eat.

When I got to school, my mom wished me luck and I walked towards where Angela told me she would be waiting. When I got there Diana, Mary, Angela and I walked towards where our homeroom was suppose to meet. Luke was standing right outside the classroom, we made eye contact for a minute and he slightly moved his head upward to say hi to me, I gave him a small smile and went with the girls to the bathroom. 

The test lasted about 2 hours but we couldn't leave the class until it was lunch time because the some students could have extra time in the other classes so we couldn't disturb them. When the test ended, our teacher told us we could have free time as long as we didn't make too much noise. My friends and I all huddled in the front of the class where most of us were. I sat on top of a small bookcase by the door,Luke sat next me while the rest of them sat in desks around us. We all started talking about how the prompt for the essay was pretty easy, when all of a sudden Luke laid his head on my legs. I looked down at him surprisingly while he just smiled at me warmly. I didn't read much into it since he said he was tired so I kept talking to my friends but because he was laying on top of me I didn't have anywhere to put my hands so I put them on his head and started playing with hair. He sighed contently and closed his eyes. The girls and I started talking about different things for about an 1 hour, when Diana pointed out quietly that Luke had fallen asleep, I looked down at him and realized that he had with a small smile on his face.

He was so damn attractive. I realized then what I had told myself and that this was not playing well with my plan of staying away from him. Thankfully in that moment our teacher told us we had 10 minutes to lunch so to start packing up. All my friends got up and left me to wake Luke by myself. I silently groaned and wondered how I was going to accomplish that. 

"Luke,love, it's time to go." He moved slightly but didn't wake up. I shook him slightly and tapped his cheek but he just groaned and kept sleeping. I sighed, this was not going to be easy. I moved my body slightly to the side while gently holding his head so I didn't hurt him. I moved my head closer to his ear and whispered "Love, it's time to wake up. Come on" while gently shaking him. He slightly opened his eyes and looked at me. My breathe caught on my throat as we stared at each other. His eyes were slightly red and the look he was giving me kind of scared me because it was like he was looking into my soul. I cleared my throat and looked way from him. He got up and started rubbing his eyes.

"Nice nap?" I asked while smiling. He smiled at me and said "The best I've had in a while." I swallowed nervous and got down from the shelf. "Well you should get your things we have to go to lunch soon." He nodded and went towards his desk. I breathed deeply and got my book bag to meet the girls in the back.  Thankfully no one noticed my little encounter with Luke because if they had I would've needed to explain a lot that I didn't even know how to explain. 

The rest of the day went by pretty quickly because we only had one class left and they didn't really make us do anything because they knew we had been testing all morning. After school the girls and I started talking about our dresses and shoes for the end of the year dance next week. None of  us had dates but we all decided we would go together and just enjoy it as a group. Angela had pestered me all week to ask Luke to go with me as friends since Kiara couldn't go because she was in the grade below us. Each grade had their own dance and you could take whoever you wanted but not if they were in the same school and were in a different grade, I didn't get the point of that rule but whatever. Anyway I thought that asking Luke wouldn't be smart of me because if he wanted to go with me he could've just asked. When we were about to leave, we saw Garret sprinting towards us.
