Jenny POV

September 10

The bell rings signaling school has started and we have to head to homeroom. I walked from our spot under the tree with Lauren to homeroom. When I got there Luke and Julian,some random kid, were messing around about who got there first. I smiled lightly and kept talking to Lauren. If you're asking yourself why I'm not mentally cursing at  Luke its because I don't really dislike him as much as I use to. Since I hang out all the time with Angela and he's like her best guy friend I kinda have to stand him. He isn't as bad as I thought but I still don't like him.

Me and Andrea don't really talk that much anymore, we've separated a lot since we don't have any classes together. We just smile and say hi to each other but don't talk much. I walked to Mrs.Scott's class and took my usual sit behind Angela. I was telling her about my crush,Kevin. He had class with us but didn't sit by us. He was tall, brown eyes and brown hair,he was a really nice guy but he was also an idiot. Christina, my other friend, also liked him and apparently he liked her back. Me and Kevin talked a lot and we bothered each other a lot in school. They accused him of skipping so he was leaving the school in 5 days. I was sad because I honestly thought I was in love with him. 

"Do you think he'll come back next year?" Angela asked me. I shrugged and said "I don't know, honestly I hope he does." 

September 17

Kevin left the school last week on Friday,I didn't go to school so I found out after. At first, it was hard to take in but I kind of got over it. We were texting a lot so it wasn't like he was completely gone. Since me and Luke were friends now, yes, I know its weird, I apologized for calling him a manwhore all those times last year and he forgave me. I actually felt kind of bad for calling him that. 

We were all really excited for a field trip that's going to be in October, we're going to see "Macbeth" from Shakespeare in a play. All of my friends and I are going to go. The bell rang so Luke and I walked to homeroom. "So how was you're weekend?" he asked me."It was fine, just spent some time with my family, how about yours?" He laughed and said "Super boring,I did absolutely nothing" I laughed and shook my head. Then we walked into homeroom

After homeroom I waited for Luke outside. We talked while heading to our classes, he randomly stopped and looked at me a bit cautiously, I raised my eyebrow at him and waited for him to speak.

"I was wondering if you could give me your number, you know just in case." I laughed a bit and nodded. I gave him my number while he saved his in my phone, we hugged, yes I know not something I normally would do but what the hell, who cares, and walked me to my math class.

 I couldn't really concentrate because I was confused as to why he looked nervous to ask me for my number, he probably thought I was going to say no but I wouldn't do that. I mean we haven't been friends for a really long time and I use to kinda hate him but we're okay now.

I walked out of Math and walked to History. When the final bell rang I went outside to the fountain to wait for my friends. We all met up and started walking towards the front so we could all go our own way.

It's the first day of October, Meand Luke are becoming pretty close friends,me and him poke and tickle each other all the time. Our friendship is actually pretty cool, it's fun to hang out with him. I think I'm starting to have a crush on him, I never thought I would say that but he isn't as bad as I think. 

"Hey Jen" I hear him say behind me as he tickles me. I squeal and turn around. "Luke! Stop doing that!" 

"Why?You know you love when I do that" I scoff as he smirks at me. "Oh please, don't flatter yourself." He continues to smirk until the teacher calls us in. As I walk by him , I punch his stomach. He groans and goes to sit. "Now who's smirking." I say to him and stick out my tongue. He just glares at me, I laugh and turn to talk to Diana, who's looking at us like we're crazy, I shrug and change the subject.

Angela met up with me in lunch.I told her that I might have a small crush on Luke. "WHAT!?" she screamed,earning a few weird looks. I shushed her and said "Calm down! It's not that big of a deal, I'm sure by the end of the week I won't like him anymore."

"Well yeah but what if you continue liking him." I looked towards him then back at her "Nah I doubt it, but whatever it doesn't matter just don't mention it please." She nodded and then Luke and Mary sat in front of us. I let out a sigh of relief and tuned into the conversation about Captain America.
