 Jenny POV

We were now about a week away from Halloween! One of my favorite holidays, well if you can call it that. This year we all decided we would go to a Halloween party at Zac's house. The girls and I were in charge of basically making this party happen. Our whole grade was invited plus a couple juniors and some people from other schools. It wasn't a huge party but it wasn't a small party either, since Zac had a relatively big house and his parents didn't mind ,we decided to have it there.

Me and Zac made 6 months earlier in the month and it was actually on of the nicest but most laid back dates that we've had. I know it's weird since usually everyone makes a big deal out of 6 months, which it is, but we decided to just have a day in at my house and we watched movie the whole day while cuddling in bed. Honestly it was perfect, I think I can finally say I love Zac. Ever since our last date in the summer, I allowed all my feelings for him to take over because before I was so scared of messing up and falling into him because I didn't wanna get hurt like I did with Luke. But we talked that day, I decided to not be scared anymore so I let myself fall in love with him and I did not regret it.

I still haven't told him because I'm waiting for the perfect moment but I'm pretty sure I will soon. Sometimes when we're talking on the phone and we're gonna say bye it almost slips out on me but I'm able to stop before it does. I don't know if he loves me back but I'm not completely scared about that. I just really hope he does because it'd be so amazing to hear that from him. 

So now me and Luke, we're at Party City trying to buy the decorations for the party. Zac,Jonathan and Angela we're at Zac's house making sure the furniture and the DJ station we're ready. They were also making a playlist just in case the DJ didn't work out. While we were there they told me to go get the decorations and because Luke wasn't doing anything, they told him to come with me. There aren't really any hard feelings between Zac and Luke though I do see them glare at each other sometimes but there's usually no confrontation ,thankfully.

"So what exactly are we looking for?" I turned towards Luke and gave him a dry look. "How many more times do I have to say this? Spiderwebs, purple lights, skeletons, glow in the dark stuff, anything with the Halloween theme. Oh and the white flashing lights and smoke." He nodded and went towards where the smoke was. 

I started looking for spiderwebs and anything else that I could hang from the ceiling, when my phone started ringing.

"Hello?" 

"Hey Jen its Angie, before you guys come back can you pick up something to eat. Get like 3 boxes of pizza from Little Ceasar's."

"Yeah sure, I'll tell Luke to pay for it." She laughed and then hung up. About 30 minutes later, Luke came up to me with another cart. I raised my eyebrow at him and he said "I got the white and purple lights. I also found the smoke machine and these little glow in the dark spiders. By the way, since we're already here do you think you can help me choose a costume?"

"Yeah sure, do you have any ideas of what you wanna dress up as?"

"Yeah, I was thinking between a wolf, vampire or any super hero." I thought about it for a minute and said " Ok, how about we look at the costumes when I make sure we have everything and you can look at the ones you like and we can choose from there." He smiled and nodded, so I looked into the cart and made sure we had everything we came for.
