Chapter 8

Hey lovelies.. I'm sorry for the super long wait.. I didn't have any inspiration for a while but I think I may be able to finish it now.. There's a picture of Jonathan on the side! I know I haven't mentioned him much but he is Angela's boyfriend! Enjoy X

Jenny POV
As March, passed things got a little complicated. Luke and I would sort of talk but I just couldn't stand seeing him with her. I tried moving on because I hated moping after him but it just never worked.

Everything changed on April first. Luke and I would flirt a bit and trust me I knew it was wrong but I was just happy he was giving me attention and now when I think of it, how desperate does that sound?

So April first he texted me and we talked. Randomly he asked me, "do you wanna be my girlfriend? " I stare down at my phone in shock. At first I thought it was an April's fools joke but when I asked him. "I'm completely serious. " I didn't know what to answer,immediately you guys might start judging and saying well what the hell is so hard the answer is no but it wasn't that easy. So instead I didn't say anything and I told him I had to think about it.

The next day I had to stay for my Spanish Club with Angela. Of course I told her what happened but she didn't really know the answer either. He texted me to meet him by the stairs because he had to tell me something but to come alone.

I go to the stairs and got some water. My hair was in a braid and I was wearing my "I ❤ NY" black hoodie. I stood there for a bit until finally he came down. He asked me what I was doing and then he told me he was on his way to drama club. As we were talking, his math teacher passed by and told Luke to hurry up. So we started walking together,as we were gonna turn the corner to the main hallway where Angela was, he grabbed a sleeve of my hoodie, pulled me back and kissed me. It was a short kiss, we pulled apart and started walking as if nothing. My insides blew up in butterflies. As soon as he walked out of the building, I ran to Angela. She told me she saw when he pulled me back but couldn't see what happened. I decided at that moment that even though it was completely wrong, he could talk me into it.

A couple days went by and our friend, Kevin was gonna ask out the girl he liked. So he told us"Ill ask her out if you and Jen make out." I stood there for a few mins, stunned. All the people there knew he had a girlfriend and didn't know anything about us so I was very surprised before I could answer no,Luke said fine. So Kevin asked her out and she said yes, then it was my turn.

Me and Luke walked towards another stairs and opened the door to have a bit of distance and privacy from our friends. We stood there for a few just looking at each other and then we started leaning in. At first it didn't work because our noses hit,we backed off laughing at each other. Then we got the angle right and finally our lips touched.

And that's when the zoo party began. Luke held my waist while I didn't know where to put my hands. We kissed, just kind of exploring each others mouth,there was no tongue involved just something sweet and nice.

I pulled away a bit and smiled, putting my forehead on his chin and he just kind of held me for a bit. I could hear my friends giggling and when I turned around I saw they were staring at us through a little window. Luke and I started laughing and walked out. They all whooped and laughed. I was really happy because I had just gotten over my first make out and it was with a guy I really liked and even loved. But reality set in when he said he had to go to Drama which was where is actual girlfriend was. I forgot why the situation had occurred and it was back in my face but I was in so deep I had no idea of what to do.
