Jenny POV

I woke up and looked a the clock 10:15. I saw the date and smiled happily. I went to the bathroom,brushed my teeth, and took a shower. It was already 11 so I went downstairs to eat and breakfast and about 30 minutes later, I was back in my room staring at my closet , trying to figure out what to wear. Today was my 3 month anniversary with Zac and honestly I was so happy. We were almost at the end of summer, since it's August 17, and I can honestly say this was one of the best summer's of my life. Zac and I went on a lot of dates, some to the beach,fair ,to watch a movie or just at each other's house. My family really liked him and I think that his family liked me, I ,of course, loved them. Sometimes we would all hang out in a group but mostly it was him and me. He got his drivers license as he turned 18 in mid June so he would pick me up in his new black Camaro.

I didn't know this until I went to his house to meet his parents, but Zac wasn't exactly middle class, he was a bit higher. He doesn't like to think that he's considered rich but he practically was. His mom was one of the best lawyers in the city and his dad was a chef in a restaurant that his family owned. No one had ever figured out those were Zac's parents, only  a couple of his close friends knew. While I did know what his parents looked like and where they worked, I didn't really make the connection to the actual people. So of course, they had money and when he turned 18, they gave him the Camaro as a gift. 

After I found out about Zac's family, he started taking me to more expensive restaurants or places. I felt uncomfortable with it because I really didn't want him to spend his money on expensive things when I was content with just his presence. So we talked about it and he finally agreed that there had to be balance. So only on special occasions would he start with the expensive things, I still didn't completely like it but I let him since he wouldn't let me say no and we had come to an agreement. 

So I stood in front my closet, thinking about the past summer I realized about 10 minutes had gone by and I needed to be ready by 2:30 since he was coming to pick me up to go one our anniversary date. I remembered he told me to dress nice so I decided on wearing my light blue strapless top and black legging with some black wedges.. I had straightened my hair the night before so all I had to do was my make up. I put on eye liner, mascara and a bit of lip gloss. I wasn't much of a make up person so I put it on lightly. 

When I went downstairs, I checked the time and saw that it was 2. My mom was in kitchen putting things away,I smiled at her and she smiled back while looking me up and down."Jen, you look gorgeous. Do you and Zac have plans tonight? " she asked me. I nodded said "Yeah, we do. He's gonna take me out to eat and maybe watch  a movie or something. It said it was a surprise after that so I'm not completely sure." She slightly squealed and said she was happy with the guy I chose. My phone buzzed and so I looked down to see who it was from.

Hey babe, I'll be there in about 20 minutes.. Happy Anniversary Xx - Z

I smiled and quickly sent him a response. I walked towards my living room and decided to watch TV until Zac got here. I was completely engrossed watching Pretty Little Liars, when I heard the doorbell. I saw my mom open and she let Zac walk in. I got up to walk towards him and looked him up and down,my breathe caught in my throat and I stopped walking. He was wearing a blue plaid shirt with black jeans and converse. His hair was brushed back and he was holding flowers in one hand with a big ass smile on his face. I slightly laughed at how, without planning it, we were matching. I finally got to him and he engulfed me in the best hug I have ever had. I pulled back realizing my mom was still standing next to us. I smiled sheepishly at her while she laughed and shook her head.
