I woke up with a smile on my face. Then I remembered that today is the day. My smile slowly faded.

I heaved a sign then checked the clock, it's already lunch time.

I decided to went outside.

"Good morning anak!" Mama greeted me.

"Morning!" I greeted mama back.

"Hija, anak, come on let's eat!" Mommy said.

We went inside the dining area.

Then started eating.

"Where's papa?" I asked.

"He went out. Final touches daw for the event later." mommy said.

I nodded then continued eating.

They're talking about random stuffs so I decided not to join their conversation.

I'm thinking about the possible things that might happen later.

I'm looking forward seeing my friends and relatives. But I'm afraid of what's going to happen.

"Hija, will you join us?" Mommy asked.

"Po? Saan po?" I asked.

"Ate! We're talking about the planned trip to Batanes! But it looks like you're enjoying you're out of this world trip." Rosalie said then rolled her eyes.

I looked at mommy then answered her question, "Hindi ko pa po alam." I said.

Mommy nodded. "Just tell me if you wanted to come. Next week pa naman yun, after Christmas, so you still have a lot of time to decide." Mommy said.

I nodded then finished eating my food.

I went back to my room after eating.

I sat in my bed, I grabbed a book from my shelve beside my study table.

I smiled, missing my book worm days.

I remembered the first time I bought a book online. After the first time I'm kinda addicted na magbuy ng books. So every week pagkabigay pa lang sa akin ng allowance ko mamimili na agad ako ng books to buy.

Most of my books are series. Onti lang yung stand alone novels ko.

Bumili din ako ng mini bookshelve dahil punong puno na yung study table ko ng books at di na magamit.

So with in 5 months nakaipon ako ng mahigit 40 books.

Okay lang naman kala mama na nagcocollect ako ng things basta't pinagiipunan ko at hindi galing sa kanila.

I decided to re read the book I am holding.

A Nicholas Sparks book.

A walk to remember. Oh, Jamie and Landon I miss you both.

I re read the book.

I was in the middle of reading the story when my phone vibrated.

I put the bookmark inside then put the book at my table.
