I can hear their laughs. I opened my eyes then checked the clock. It's already 8am.
Bumangon na ako then dumiretso sa cr to take a bath.
I wore a white shorts and a plain black v neck shirt then decided na bumaba na.
They're busy with their conversation when I faked a cough.
I smiled.
Their jaws dropped when they saw me at the end step of the stairs.
Natawa naman ako sa mga reactions nila.
"Ateeee!!!!!!" nagtititiling sabi ni Rosalie and Jasmine sabay sugod ng yakap sa akin.
Natawa naman ako then I also hugged them.
"I missed you!" Masayang sabi ni Jasmine.
"Aww, I missed you too." I said.
"Mommy also surprised us. Tapos sabi niya nagpaiwan ka daw dun." Nakapout na sumbong ni Rosalie.
"It was the plan. And I left her in Chicago. I didn't know that she's also here." depensa naman ni mommy.
I smiled. "Mommy wants to surprise you guys. And so did I. Biglaan din kasi yung naging uwi ko." sabi ko.
Nag mano ako kay mommy.
"I have an idea na uuwi ka din dito. But not this soon." nakangiting sabi ni mommy.
I smiled at her.
Then I hugged mama and papa.
"Welcome home anak." They said.
I smiled at them.
"Thank you po. Namiss ko po kayo." masayang sabi ko sa kanila.
"We missed you too." sabi naman ni mama.
"Ate, I like your hair." Sabi ni Jasmine.
"Thank you!" sabi ko then flipped my short hair.
Jas laughed.
"Ay nako, alam mo ba yang ate mo, nagvacation ng mahigit one year. Tapos pagbalik sa Chicago, pixie cut na ang hair style. Namiss ko tuloy yung long hair niya." kwento ni mommy.
I smiled at them. "Di ko naman po ginustong ipa cut yung hair ko."
"Then why did you cut it?" mama asked.
"Long story po." I said.
Tumango naman si mama. She knows na kahit anong gawin nila hindi ko ito ikkwento not until I'm ready.
"Ate, where's my pasalubong?" Rosalie asked.
"Nasa taas. I'll give it to you later." I said.
"How about chocolates ate?" she asked.
"I haven't bought any yet. Baka within this week na lang tayo magduty free." I said.
"Really?! Yey!" masayang sabi ni Rosalie.
"Kaloka tong batang to oh, chocolates talaga hinanap kay ate." natatawang sabi ni Jas.
"Mam, luto na po ang sinaing." Nakangiting sabi ni manang.
Tumango naman si mama, "Tara na't kumain doon na natin ituloy ang usapan." nakangiting sabi ni mama.
Sumunod naman na kami sa dining area then settled in our seats.
