"Scarlett! Your guests ar- oh, sorry" his voice lowers to a low hushed tone as he glanced at Leon.

His black curls mingled into my own as he breathed into the crook of my neck. His small arms wrapped around my neck although they had loosened when he fell asleep on me.

"The next time you plan on giving him sweets, take into consideration that he needs to sleep like a normal child" I told joey with a frown edged deep onto my face.

I didn't appreciate what he did, not in the slightest. Not only am I still tired but Leon is as well, he's barely spoken to me all morning. He ate a little bit of cereal and fell asleep on me.

"Sorry" he smiled sheepishly.

"Dad sent me to tell you that 6 alphas are here. 3 will be here later tonight and 2 will be here in the morning before the peace offering" he listed off to me.

"Did Xavier accept?" I question through gritted teeth, my hands clenching slightly as I held onto Leon.

"He's just got here" he nodded.

I felt a ruthless smile spread across my face, my lycan snarled deep within me, his name and presence awakening her full potential.

"Are you alright?" Joey asked wearily.

"I'm great" I replied already walking out of the room and down the hallway. I could smell his scent, it lit a rage deep within me that I'd locked away until the day I took my revenge.

'Give me the ok and ill kill him' Jace told me as I stood at the top of the steps that descended to the front door. My dad greeted the other alphas formally, he shook their hands and invited them in. Their mates following behind them, their packs were escorted to the guest houses.

My eyes zoned in as a certain man stepped through the door. His blonde hair remained the same, his tan skin looked no older, his features looked exactly the same. By his side stood a female, his new mate.

They talked amongst themselves with professional voices.

Until the sound of my feet coming down the stairs caught their attention.

My dad turned to me with a stern face that I knew he wore to show he was an alpha. But when he saw the dark glint in my eyes he seemed weary.

One by one they all noticed this and stepped away slightly. But they weren't my problem.

Xavier was.

"And who might this be?" Xavier asked, his eyes never leaving mine. But the dark amused and enraged smile that he hid in his eyes didn't do him any justice.

"My daughter Scarlett, she recently returned" was my father's snappy reply. He knew he couldn't trust Xavier, not when he was the one to call the shots of me being taken. But my father wasn't strong enough to take on Xavier, the rogues, and his allys.

"From where?" He mused.

My feet hit the marble floor silently. I felt his eyes travel up my body, a wave of raw hatred and anger crashed through my body.

He expected me not to speak. He wanted me to keep it a secret so he wouldn't have enemies. After all he was strong, one of the strongest actually. But he had no idea what he had created when he called the order.

"Mommy?" Leon whispered quietly, his tired voice wide awake and shaking with fear. He recognised Xaviers voice. Xavier tormented him, he beat me in front of Leon.

"It's alright baby, he's not going to hurt you ever again" I soothed him hugging him into my chest.

"Jace" I ordered. He instantly walked towards me, I handed Leon to him who cried for me. He knew what I had to do.
