chapter 35

Scarlett silvers pov

'You have things to do today. Your pack is your priority and your priorities come before anything." Jace says angrily.

Snarling I quicken my pace as my paws move soundless against the soft earth.

'My mate is my priority! I'm your alpha. Brother or not I will put you in your place!" My wolf growls furiously with full alpha command.

I feel his emotions change, his wolf forcing him to bow down.

Blocking him out I let my wolf take control on finding my mate. If anyone can find him it'll be her. After seven hundred years of training I'm pretty sure she can hunt down anyone. No matter how far or how long they've been gone.

Hunter's been gone for almost eight days, to other wolves his scent would be gone completely.

2 days later*

I fidget slightly as something touches my side, I shake it off. Growling as something once again touches my side with force.

Pain shoots through me as something kicks me hard making me jolt awake. Snapping my eyes open I try to stand when pain shoots through my left back leg. Snarling I take a look seeing at an odd angle. Fuck.

Lookin around I see around six huge vicious looking rogues surrounding me.

I glare at them while they smirk evilly as one punches me so fast I done even see it coming. My head snaps to the side from the force as pain makes itself known.

Thankfully I'm in human form, they'd capture me if I was in wolf form.

I shift backwards thinking of a way to escape and panic starts to set in when there's no way out. I can't get up, every time I do I'm forced back to the ground and with a broken leg it's kinda hard to keep balance.

'Are you able to heal me?' I ask my wolf slightly pleading.

'Not fully, it will still hurt but if I heal it fully it may set wrong' she explains softly.
'I can deal with that, thankyou' I say before cutting the link.

Taking a deep breath I grab my broken leg and use my hands to hold it in place while it starts to tingle.

I pretend to be in excruciating pain as the men come closer.

'Thanks' I say before swinging my good leg out, knocking them all off there feet.

'Until next time' she muses making me chuckle.

Jumping up quickly pain travels through the leg but it's bearable. Quickly shifting into my wolf I track the scent of my mates knowing I'm not too far from him now.

Zig zagging through the woods I hear the rogues chasing me, my leg slowing me down.

My body starts heating up rapidly as my stomach tightens with need. Not now!

The rogues growl viciously as they smell me. I'm in heat. Where are you hunter!?

Panicked I force myself to speed up 'can you contact his wolf?' I ask pleading, scared.

'He's been blocking me out but he'll know we're in trouble and in heat soon' she says softly.

I growl and try to contact him through mind link 'hunter! Please I know your mad at me but I need you!' I beg, he hasn't even realised I'm trying to contact him.
