On the way to the shack, I sat across from Undertaker and beside Ciel, who stared out the window at the drizzling rain. I assumed it was nearly sunset, but it would be impossible to tell with all the clouds.

"So, Lady Estella," Undertaker drew out my name in a strange way. "How is it possible you fell from heaven into the lap of hell at the Phantomhive's?"

"E-excuse me?" I stammered, confused by his choice of words.

"How did you come to stay at the manor?"

"Oh, yes," I looked down. Undertaker rested his elbows on his knees, leaning closer. "The butler found me on the street while I was ill. He cared for me, and when I woke, I had forgotten everything about myself."

"Amnesia," Undertaker grinned, chuckling to himself. "Interesting. Very interesting. And no one has come to claim you in all this time?"

"Well," I drew into myself. "One man did, but... he was an imposter."

"That's frightening," Undertaker said with a slight gasp.

"Yes, but Sebastian handled it..." I shuttered slightly at the memory.

Undertaker laughed, possibly at me. "You fell for the butler, did you not?"

"I'm sorry?"

"You fell in love with the butler, and he with you."

"Undertaker," Ciel cut him off. "If you would kindly stop. I don't believe she wants to talk on this subject anymore."

"Come now, earl, I'm just curious..."

"Yes," I answered, praying that would be his final question. For some reason, speaking of this with him was making me squirm. Or maybe it was just him.

"As I thought!" he laughed. "Alright, I'm done. Thank you for your cooperation."
