Sebastian and Ciel had been gone for only a few moments, but it felt like hours in the awkward silence that was between us. Finally, Grell of all people broke it.
"I know you know more than you're letting on about this," she spoke to Undertaker. "So spill it."
"I don't know anything about this," he grinned. "They're all just theories."
"Then," I began, deciding to take part of the conversation. "What are they?"
"I believe... this place is some sort of poison factory," he said with a little chuckle, looking right at me. His hair was lifted ever so slightly by a breeze, revealing a glimpse of a green flash that was his eye.
It's then that his words truly sunk in, and fragments of my memories came back. My mind awoke to a nightmare as the world around me faded into blurs and echoes. Something awful was going to happen. I could feel it.
