Chapter Twenty-One: Revenge of the Straights (Trigger Warning for LGBTQ+ People)
It's late in the afternoon, and the only ones in this part of the office are TUC, Percy Jackson, Steven Universe, and Supernatural. Gravity Falls and Harry Potter come running up to them.
Gravity Falls: HEY GUESS WHAT
TUC: What?
Harry Potter holds out a pink sparkly book.
Harry Potter: [in a singsong voice] I FOUND TWILIGHT'S DI-A-RY!!!!
Gravity Falls: [elbows Harry Potter] Hey, I found it too, ya know.
Harry Potter: You guys wanna read it?
Everyone looks at each other.
Percy Jackson: YEAH we do!
The theme song plays.
TFIOS, TMI, Carry On, and THG are talking about who would make the best matches.
TMI: Oh, how 'bout Miraculous and Percy Jackson? They'd be cute.
TFIOS: No, I was thinking more along the lines of TUC and Miraculous.
Carry On: [raises eyebrows] Honey, no.
In other words, they're matchmaking.
TFIOS: What do you mean?
Carry On: There's no way in Hell TUC is straight.
And there's also no way this little story arc could ever turn out well.
THG: Ew.
Carry On: He's obviously ace/aro.
THG: [slightly disgusted voice] What?
TMI: It means he doesn't feel romantic or sexual attraction.
THG: That's impossible!!
Carry On: No, it isn't.
THG: Yes it is!!!!! >:(
TMI: Just stop. You're — You're not convincing anybody.
THG rolls her eyes, her arms crossed. Carry On sighs and goes back to the conversation.
Carry On: What about OTGW and Gravity Falls?
THG: EW! No!
TFIOS: Yeah! There's no way Gravity Falls could be gay! You know his mom is Disney! He'd be disowned!
TMI: That's all the more reason he could be, though. Keeping secrets? You know Gravity Falls loves secrets.
THG: No, ew! That's horrible! There's no way!
TFIOS, TMI, and Carry On slowly turn to her.
TMI: What do you mean?
THG: It's digusting! It's not natural.
Carry On: Okay, if you think gay people are so disgusting, THG, you're booted from this conversation.
