Chapter 20

I wake to Nixon gently bushing a piece of hair out of my face. I open my eyes and smile. he smiles back. "Hi" He says. "Hi" I Say back. "How long have I been asleep?" I ask. "Couple hours" He says. "How do you like the show so far?" I ask. "It's alright, kind of confusing though" He says. I notice that i'm still laying in Nixon's arms, so i sit up, but he keeps his arm around me. I blush softly as I pause the DVD. "Do you wanna go for a walk?" He asks. "Sure, were we going?" I ask. "Well first we could go to the coffee shop and then go for a walk down a path I used to walk." He says. "Ok" I say.  He helps me up off the couch. I stretch and he just stands there looking at me. "What?" I ask. "Nothing." He says. "Then what are you waiting for?" I ask. "Well I was going to carry you up the stairs." He says. "Why?" I ask. "Because it's your lazy day" He says. "Ok." I say he sweeps me off my feet and carries me bridal style up the stairs then sets me down at the top. "Why thank you for an interesting ride up the stairs." I say. "Well get used to it because your getting this treatment for the rest of the day." He says. I smile,shake my head and go in my room and he goes in his. I walk in my room and put on my knee high black lace up boots then put on a white turtle neck shirt then I brush my hair and deiced to leave it down, I keep my blue- jeans I had on and I  grab my thick red coat  and carry it on my arm as I go down stairs and meet Nixon at the door. He's got on a light blue long sleeve shirt underneath his tan leather jacket, blue jeans and old beat up sneakers. He holds my coat and helps me put it on. "Thanks." I say. He nods. "My pleasure to help a pretty lady into a coat" He says. I smile. He holds the door open for me. We walk out to the coffee shop hand in hand but as soon as we rounded the corner to the shop we almost run into Bexley who sequels and hugs Nixon when she sees him when she lets go Nixon takes my hand again. "Oh my gosh I can't believe it! Your back! And look at you two! Your so cute together!" We look at each other, drop hands and immediately say at the same time "Oh, wait, what were not together!" Then we turn and look the other way turning bright red with embarrassment. "Oh well with the hands I just thought, oh well maybe one day!" She says then hugs us both and says. "Well it's good to see you both together again, call me sometime time, bye!" Then she walks off and we continue to the coffee shop after we order and we sit down Nixon and I make small talk as we both stair out the window. "H-have you been having strange dreams lately?" He asks not looking away from the window. I look at him. "Strange how?" I ask. "I don't know, I mean I can't really explain it" He says. Then he looks at me. "You ready to go?" He asks. "Yeah" I say. We get up and go as we are half way through our walk we're stopped in our tracks by something rustling in the bushes. We stop and look and out comes a baby deer that walks right up to me. "Awe look, are you lost little fella?" I say as I bend down to the little deer at my feet. "You better get back to your mamma little one." I say. After that a small doe walks out of the forest and up to me. It calls to the baby deer in front of me it comes to her. The doe walks up to me baby deer in tow, she smells me and nods her head and walks back into the woods with her child. Nixon is staring at me. "Well that was different" I say. "Bet you that doesn't happen every day" He says then we continue walking. When we reach a over look, we stop to rest and Nixon asks me something. "Hey,Kate there's something that's been bothering me lately..." He says. "Yeah?" I ask. "It's about you,me...ya know... us." He says. He's looking at me, I turn to him. "Yeah, what about us?" I ask. "Well I was just thinking since we're supposed to be the King and Queen of the magic realm one day and we're destine to be married  one day, I was just thinking that maybe you would like to be boyfriend-girlfriend for now" I stop to think. Wait, did he just ask me that? He did say yes you dummy! I think to myself. "Yes! i say and pull him into a tight hug. "Oh good because you don't know how nervous I got when you didn't say anything right off the bat." He says I release him and we are both smiling. "Have I made you happy now?" He asks. "Dose this answer your question?" I say as I pull him into a kiss and he dips me slightly, after a little while I pull back "Yes" He says as he sits me up right. We walk home hand and hand our fingers intertwined. He is mine and I am his, this is how it will be always and forever.No matter what happens.We will never be separated again, always together. think to my self. As we walk we see a bush of beautiful purplish-blue roses, Nixon lets go of my hand and walks over to the roses bush, gently plucks a rose and gets rid of its thorns, then walks to me "For you" He says. "Thank you it's beautiful ." I say. "Here let me fix this." He says as he gently puts the rose in my hair then steps back to look. "Stunning" He says, then takes my hand again. "What kind of roses are those?" I ask. "There some kind of English roses" He says. "Their gorgeous." I say. We walk home and cuddle on the couch for the rest of the night and continue to watch Game Of Thrones.
