After being interrogated for hours by the police, he had told them four lies.
1. He didn't know the person who beat the intruder up.
2. He didn't know anyone by the name of Lim Changkyun
3. Said Lim Changkyun did not live next door to him and he was the only one in his building (this was only a half lie but a lie all in ((whoops)) all)
4. He would let the police know if he saw Lim ChangkyunKihyun rolled his eyes for the nth time, thinking about how horribly the cops described Changkyun. Changkyun wasn't a bad person, he just made bad decisions. Kihyun knew that. Kihyun sighed as he walked up the steps of his apartment. He looked at his doors then at Changkyun's. He took a deep breath and knocked on Changkyun's door. He waited patiently until the door peeked open. After a brown eye scanned him the door opened wider, revealing an anxious-looking Changkyun.
"No one followed me and I told the police you didn't live here and that I didn't know you or anything about you." Kihyun mumbled, looking down at his feet. He heard a sigh of relief and glanced up to see Changkyun staring down at him.
"Its not safe for you to stay alone." Both boys said at the same time. They stared at each other until Kihyun broke the silence.
"You can stay with me. The police will probably check the surrounding apartments and if they find you they'll arrest you." Kihyun said, swallowing hard at the stare he was receiving.
"What's in it for you?" Changkyun asked, cautiously. Kihyun shrugged.
"N-nothing..." Kihyun stuttered. He sighed and pouted when the door was shut in his face. He turned and walked to his door, jumping when the door next to him swung open. Changkyun stood beside him with a bag slung over his shoulders. Kihyun rolled his eyes and allowed the younger to step inside.
After years of living next to each other, this was the first time Changkyun was stepping inside Kihyun's unsurprisingly neat house. Oddly enough, Changkyun already felt at home. Changkyun kicked off his shoes and stepped further into the apartment, glancing around quickly.
"Uh. I'm tired so I'm going to sleep. I'll take the couch you can have the bed. I'm sure you can find it on your own." Kihyun muttered making his way to the living room. Kihyun did not expect to be thrown over Changkyun's shoulder and carried to his room. Changkyun threw Kihyun on his bed and stripped into his boxers. He smirked when he caught Kihyun staring.
"Like what you see babe?" Changkyun asked causing the other to blush and look away. Changkyun smiled, and crawled next to the smaller male. He tossed his arm over Kihyun, leaving the older to have no choice but to sleep beside him. Kihyun wiggled out of his pants and stayed in his button up white shirt and boxers. Upon hearing Changkyun's soft snores, Kihyun snuggled into Changkyun and fell asleep quicker than he ever had before.
