HORROR!SANS POV

I gave a heavy sigh as my eye dimmed back down to its normal reddish hue, replacing Butcher back into its hilt. Now that the danger was gone, it was time to go after Papyrus and the girl. Shoving my hands back into my pockets, I slowly walked along the pathway, leading to the large double doors. Looking up, I could see the reminisce of burnt vines and branches. "...Papyrus..?" I muttered questioningly as I pushed the doors open and walked inside.

"BROTHER! YOU ARE ALIVE!" I couldn't help but grin at his over enthusiastic outburst. It warmed my SOUL to know that he cared so much for me. "Heh... yeah, Pap. I'm alright. Can't say the same for the other two, though." My grin grew a bit more crazed momentarily, but soon faltered at Papyrus's new expression. "SANS... DID YOU... HAVE TO KILL THEM...?" He looked a bit upset. I couldn't understand why. But looking down at my dust covered hands, I finally understood. "...Papyrus.. I'm sorry. I didn't /axe-ually/ have a choice. H-heh..." I exhaled a shaky breath, rubbing the dust off onto my undershirt. "They weren't who they usedta be.."

Papyrus nodded solumly, seemingly understanding where I was coming from. "NYEH... IT'S ALRIGHT, BROTHER. YOU WERE ONLY PROTECTING US." I watched as he looked down at the girl, a frown replacing his features. "SANS... SHE'S BURNING UP." My eye sockets widened at this remark of new information, and I quickly faded to his side. Placing a hand on her forehead, I realized that he was right. Her injuries were getting worse, probably infected.

"We'd better start looking..." I turned back to the door and bolted it shut, placing a large wooden plank between the door handles for good measure. No one would be able to get past that. For now.

After the entrance was sealed, we headed down the long, dusty hallway. There had to be some kind of medical room. Alphys was always doing some type of experiments down here, some involving other Monsters. But where? "BROTHER! OVER HERE!" "Huh?" I turned to see Papyrus standing near a door with a scratched out image of the Royal Scientist herself, and it looked to be unlocked.

Together, we entered the broken doorway, and descended down the stairwell, and into the darkness of the unknown depths below. Reaching the bottom step, it was too dark to see much of anything. "I'LL HANDLE THIS, BROTHER." Papyrus stated proudly, extending a hand and sending small balls of fire into the distance, lighting each lamp in the vicinity. I was a bit shocked. "Paps! You got yer magic back?" He grinned and nodded, causing me to grin right along with him. He must have been the one who burned down the vines outside. Should have known.

Once the room was lit, we were greeted with the sight of beds. Rows and rows of hospital like beds. There were also medical cupboards, cases, drawers, and other such equipment. "...we found it."

Papyrus was ecstatic, quickly yet carefully rushing forward to the softest and largest bed in the center of the room. He lay the human girl down, and began to remove the makeshift stick cast I had crafted. It was time to do this right.
