The tone in my brothers voice was enough for me to understand that he was deathly serious, Sans always knew when something was wrong, so why would now be any different? He quickly, carefully placed the human into my arms and gave me a nod of reassurance. "I'll be alright, bro. Jus' get the kid to safety!" I held her close to my chest and gave a worried frown. "B-BUT SANS..-"

"Jus' go! I'll meet you inside. Just trust me." He gave me a wink, grinning widely, and I could see his powers start to flare. "...ALRIGHT. BUT YOU'D BETTER BE CAREFUL! YOU HEAR?!" With one final look at Sans, and a glance down at the human, I took off at full speed towards the Lab. Sans was strong. Stronger then even I, the Great Papyrus! He would be just fine!... wouldn't he?

Reaching the large doors to the Laboratory, I pushed and shoved, but they just wouldn't budge! "NYEEEH..." Looking up, I could finally see the problem. The doorway was sealed tightly, covered in vines! What was I going to do now...? "Mnh..." My eyes widened at the sound of the injured human. We hadn't much time...

I gripped my skull with one gloved hand, holding tightly to the girl with the other. I could feel something. Something I hadn't felt since- "NYAAH!!" My right eye burned with intense orange flames. My magic had returned to me. "HAH!" I held up my hand, coated in a fiery glow. My magic surged forth, burning away every vine and branch in sight, leaving me breathless and shocked. I... did it. Quickly pushing open the double doors, I looked back behind me. The human and I were now 'safe' for the time being, but what about...- "SANS..."
