HORROR!SANS POV
For the next few hours, we ransacked the entire area, finding everything that we needed to nurse this human back to health and ease her suffering. We had both agreed to split up and meet back at her bed within a set time limit with everything that we could find, and to our surprise, we found more then expected. It seemed as though the rumors were true. No one had raided this building since the crisis, and everything was well stocked.
Once the time was up, I met Papyrus back at her bed with my arms full of supplies. I had found casting material, tubing, ace bandages, a bucket, and a few vials of different liquids. Papyrus had been lucky enough to have found a medication cooler that was fully stocked with pain killers like Morphine, Diazepam, Sedatives, and even Fluid Bags. He also found needles, alcohol swabs, and fever reducers. We were in business.
Waisting no time, we cleaned up all of her injuries with disinfectant, making sure to bandage each one that was too deep to heal on its own. Once that was done, and making sure she was still unconscious, we began to prep the casting materials. She would need to be out cold for this one... we knew it was gonna be a painful process. Literally.
I was more than ready to cast up her busted leg, but Papyrus didn't want to take any chances. He insisted we give her a strong sedative to be sure she was out, and stayed that way until we were done. Reluctant at first due to the risk, I soon agreed. He was probably right. Unwrapping the needle and preparing the I.V tubing, I cleaned the area of her good arm right at the bend with disinfectant. The last thing this kid needed was more infection. Applying the tourniquet, I gently pressed down, searching for the vein. Got it.
"H-hah... here we go, kid..." With a shaky breath and hand, I lowered the needle downwards, puncturing it straight into her flesh.
I don't know what happened. I just... froze. The sight of her blood dripping out from the sides... it made my mind go blank, my eyes go hollow. I licked my teeth. My stomach gave a low rumble. It looked... so good. So fresh. Maybe... just one... taste-? "..-ANS? SANS!?" Hearing Papyrus calling my name snapped me away from those thoughts, and I suddenly felt ashamed. "A-ah? Wha? H-..hah.... s-sorry, bro. I musta spaced out there for a sec... heh..."
My excuses weren't fooling him. Weren't fooling me, neither. I sighed and looked back down at what I was doing, the urge to do... what ever I was about to do... had disappeared. "SANS... PERHAPS I SHOULD TAKE OVER...?" He offered, a look of concern upon his features. "N-nah.. nah, I'm fine. I guess I'm just /Bone-tired/ from the trip. Heh heh..." I gave him a reassuring grin, and he sighed in defeat. "OH, VERY WELL... BUT SANS? IF SOMETHING IS TROUBLING YOU, REMEMBER YOU CAN ALWAYS TALK TO ME ABOUT IT. THE GREAT PAPYRUS IS NOT ONLY A GREAT COOK, BUT A GREAT BROTHER AS WELL!"
Finishing up my handiwork I couldn't help but smile. Paps always had this strange knack for cheering me up. "Heh... thanks, bro. You're the coolest." I grinned, connecting the fluid bag to the I.Vs tubing. "NATURALLY! NYEH HEH HEH!" He grinned with a victorious pose. Hah... yep. That's my brother.
