J-Hope appeared on several music programs due to his feature in 2AM member Jo Kwon's single, Animal. The rest of the members (excluding Rap Monster and Jimin) also appeared in Jo Kwon's 'I'm Da One' music video. They were supposed to debut in 2010, but with members leaving the group, it was postponed. Rap Monster remains the only original member for the line-up of the group. The group released two cover songs before their debut. Three members; Jin, Rap Monster and Suga, covered 'Drank' by Kendrick Lamarand turned it into 'School of Tears'; a song about modern society and its backward ways. Three other members; J-Hope, Jungkook and Jimin, did a cover of 'Young, Wild and Free' by Wiz Khalifa and turned it into 'Graduation Song'. The final member, V, was kept a secret until the teaser trailers for their debut, so did not feature in either of these songs.
