April, Who hath you fooled?
Tis' it I?
Or somebody with no eyes?
My mind is being pulled
By the illusion you set
I may have been fooled
But today, I have no regret
For the beauty is still present
April, bring me showers of gold
Or that tricky
Mischief leprechaun
Whose beard is flaked with gold
Let the Easter Bunny rejoice for his nap
And the kids rejoice for no school news mishaps
Goodbye January,February, and March!
April is proud to show
That she has fooled I
For there is no April in the months
It is Mother Nature in hiding
April, who else had you fooled?
