LaToya's Point of View ~ Friday, 9:32am
I groaned in frustration, hearing the loud knocking on the door of my hotel room. Who the hell is here? It can't be Rakim because I'm supposed to meet him in the lobby at 10:30. I got up, kicking the covers back, and lazily made my way out of the bedroom and over to the front door. I opened the door, running my fingers through my hair and rubbing my eye. "What..?" I opened my eyes to see a crying Bre standing in the doorway, about to break down. I quickly pulled her inside, kicking the door close and taking her over to the sofa. I sat her down and she started crying into my shirt. "Bre, what's wrong?" She started muffling some words but I couldn't really understand her at all.
I brought her face up, trying to understand what she was saying. I heard four words: Trey. Zonnique. Child. Cheated. Hold the hell on. I know this motherf-cker didn't cheat on Bre. I better be hearing something else. "He cheated on you..?" She nodded and continued crying hysterically. I rocked her back and forth trying to process this. Zonnique was supposed to be imprisoned for the rest of her life. How did she get out? I have to seriously look into this sh-t cause something ain't right. She eased up on her crying and looked at me, "He cheated two years ago, Toya. Two f-cking years. The little girl is TWO! Walking around here and sh-t. We ain't talking about no d-mn baby. And Zonnique had the nerve to come to my salon with her."
I shook my head, "We all know that b-*** lost her rabbit a-s mind years ago but Trey's a-s is outta line." She smirked but then we ended up laughing. "I just can't believe he'd do this to me and only admitted two years later, after I found out." I shook my head, grabbing the room phone and dialing a number. "Hi, no need for you intro. We need two of your best breakfast platters up here. Fresh squeezed orange juice and coffee place. Thank you." I hung up, grabbing the remote and handing it to Bre. "We gon' eat and talk this sh-t out because I'm still dumbfounded on the fact that Trey, the n-*** who wants another child from you, went out there and cheated with the b-*** who shot him when were in college. When since is Trey that stupid?"
She smirked, rubbing her eyes, "Two years ago." I laughed a little, getting up and heading into the bedroom. Before I even went into the bathroom, I texted Rakim that I wouldn't be able to make it. At least this wasn't a lie because I was gonna lie and say I was sick. I don't wanna go to brunch with that n-***. He wants to be more than friends when we're only friends with some form of benefits. I rolled my eyes, heading into the bathroom and doing my business. I pulled my curly mess of hair up into a neat bun after washing my face. I headed back out there and sat down on the sofa with Bre, seeing that she was watching the Jamie Foxx Show. I sang the theme song along with her, seeing my phone light up on the coffee table.
Jacquees's picture popped up so I smiled a little but ended up laughing once Bre answered the phone, "Mhmmm. Jac, you calling Toua now, huh?" I could hear Jacquees panicking a little through the speaker. I smirked as she handed me the phone, "What's good?" He seemed to have calmed down but what made me smile is hearing RJ's laugh in the background. "Good morning, Toya." I smirked, knowing he wouldn't continue if I didn't say it how he wanted me to, "Good morning, Jacquees." I heard him chuckle a little and then some shuffling, "You have any plans after your brunch?" I got up and headed over to the door since there was a knock at the door. I opened it, seeing that it was the room service people. They rolled in the breakfast as I continued talking to Jacquees, "I'm not going to brunch anymore, I'm chilling with Bre."
