LaToya's Point of View ~ Monday, 3:26pm
I ended rehearsal way earlier than I wanted to because my head was swinging. I'm glad I had a driver today because driving in this condition wouldn't have went too well. Sitting at the back of the room, I drank down some water as the dancers started to leave. My ride wasn't here yet. One of the dancers, Tamar, walked over to me with a concerned look, "You alright?" I nodded, "I'm fine, I may just need some rest." She gave me a small smile before grabbing her bag and walking out with the only other girl who was left.
Eventually, some guy in a black suit walked in with about four of my security guards following behind him. I took a deep breath before standing to my feet just as he picked up my gym bag. Throwing my backpack over my shoulder, I followed them outside where a crowd of fans stood screaming. That didn't help either. I mean, yes.. I appreciate them but right now wouldn't exactly be the best time for screaming. A little girl stood there holding a woman's hand. They look alike so I guess that's her mom. She was holding a phone so I stopped and took a quick photo with her before getting into the back of the Escalade.
I didn't even buckle up, I just laid out in the back seat while reading emails. Contracts, contracts, invitations to events and more contracts. Rolling my eyes, I stuffed my phone into my pocket as the vehicle came to a stop. I sat up and then it reoccurred to me that the rehearsal building is very close to my loft apartment here. Grabbing my backpack, I got out and the driver handed me my gym bag. One of the guards ensured I got to my room safely before leaving. Stepping inside, I kicked the door closed and headed into the bedroom. I noticed that my luggage had yet to be unpacked. I was too lazy last night to do it. I'll get to that after I take a nap.
After taking a shower and changing, I pulled the curtains across and laid down on the bed and immediately felt at peace. Just as I was about to drift into a deep sleep, my phone vibrated on the bed. Groaning, I stretched across and grabbed it. My face lit up once I noticed that it was a text from one of my favorite people.
Alana: Mommy, I miss you
LaToya: I miss you too, boo. How was school today?
Alana: It was good, we start exams next week tho
LaToya: Good :) .. Have you started studying?
Alana: Dad made sure I did from last month..
LaToya: Lmbo, smh.. He isn't wrong for making sure you didn't procrastinate but that's a bit much
Alana: Ikr, where are you?
LaToya: Atm? My apartment..
Alana: I thought you would've been working all day

LaToya: Alright, boo. Tell Lisa and RJ I said hi :)Jacquees's Point of View ~ Monday, 4:13pm
I'm currently seated on the living room floor, helping RJ with his homework while the twins are upstairs doing theirs. Cheyenne is in the kitchen taking some kind of medication that's supposed to help her with heartburn. Shaking my head at the thought, I shut RJ's notebook and handed it to him. "Go put it in your backpack right now. Don't get distracted, okay?" He nodded and thanked me before running upstairs. Cheyenne walked out of the kitchen looking a mess.
Ever since she found out she was pregnant, she took it as a reason for her to be sloppy. She walked over and sat down on the sofa, playing in my hair, "Baby?" I shifted a little because sitting on the floor was beginning to get uncomfortable, "Hm?" I noticed the change in her voice so she was about to ask me for something totally unreasonable, "Maybe we should go talk to LaToya?" My eyes almost popped out of my head, "Talk to her for what?" The last thing Toya and I talked about wasn't exactly the best. I miss her but no, I don't love her and I hurt her by lying. I don't think she would even want to talk to me.
She sighed, "Look. You don't give me any ideas on how to get these kids to like me. Maybe if I got to know her better and we became friends, she'd put in a good word for me with the kids." This had to be the dumbest thing I ever heard and I have to try and say this to her in a nice way, "Baby, this has to be the dumbest thing I ever heard." She got all emotional and shoved my head, getting up from the couch. She began walking upstairs so I groaned loudly before following her up there, "Chey, don't be like that." She huffed, walking even faster. I caught up with her in the master bedroom just before she could slam the door in my face, "Chey, listen to me, babe."
