LaToya's Point of View ~ Thursday, 8:29am
Laying up in my apartment, I stretched a little and just looked up at the ceiling. I had woken up an hour before my alarm went off so I relocated to the living room and found myself watching Max and Ruby. I shook my head at myself, stopping my alarm as it finally went off. "Time to get ready, LaToya." I cranked myself up off of the couch and dismissed myself into the bedroom. I went into the walk-in closet and got the clothes I had set aside for today. I proceeded into the bathroom and started to get ready for Bre's appointment. She was only about two months along so it was just a regular check-up.
After about fifteen minutes in the shower, I hopped out and dried off before slipping into my undies. I pulled the bench out from underneath the sink and took a seat, applying the rest of my body products. I had already brushed my teeth when I woke up so I proceeded and flat ironed my naturally curly hair. Once I was done, I pulled it back into a basic ponytail. Standing, I applied little makeup before slipping into my jeans and shirt for the day. Flicking off the lights, I exited the bathroom and immediately stepped into my casual heels for today. I slipped on some basic accessories before loading my bag for today and slipping my coat on. It was windy today. Also, there was supposed to be some rain later on and I had no idea how long I was going to be out.
Walking out to the main area of the place, I turned off the TV and grabbed my keys before heading out. I walked down the long hallway and over to the elevator, pressing the button. The doors opened immediately so I stepped on, shooting my security team a text. I would usually just fare on my own but I had a pregnant woman with me today and the last thing I needed was an accident. Down in the lobby, I made my way outside and over to the valet stand. The guy immediately ran off for my vehicle, knowing who I was. My security team pulled up and I waved to them. Once my car pulled up, I hopped in and buckled up before resting my bag down in the passenger seat. I started it up and drove around them before heading out of the parking lot. They drove behind me as I made my way over to the Songz/Neverson household.
The drive wasn't that long after I had crossed the bridge. I pulled up in front of the house and parked in the driveway while they parked by the sidewalk. I hopped out and left the engine running, going over to the front door. I rang the doorbell and watched as T'Asia's face appeared by the little window. She then opened the door, smiling a little at me which was surprising from her. She had yet to become comfortable with the family. "Hey, sweetie. How are you?" She spoke, closing the door behind me, "I'm good." With that, she ran off upstairs where TJ was standing at the very top. He spoke, "Hey, auntie!" I smiled, "Hey, baby!" They ran off somewhere as Bre called from the kitchen, "I'm in here, Toya!"
I walked into the kitchen and she was in there, fully dressed. Trey was eating breakfast at the counter, fully dressed for work. I spoke, "Good morning, guys." Trey gave me a smile since his mouth was full and Bre came over and side hugged me as he continued talking to him, "Make sure you pack T'Asia an extra set of clothes because I didn't get a chance to." I assumed that the kids were going over to someone's house. He nodded, standing to wash his plate as she grabbed her bag and turned to me, "Can we get breakfast before we head to my obstetrician, girl?" I nodded as she pecked Trey on the lips, "See you later, hubby." I couldn't help but smile at them as I waved and followed her out of the kitchen. After she screamed goodbye to the kids, we were out the door and over to my car. We got in and buckled up before I reversed and drove off.
