Rain’s pov.

I wake up on my given bed and frantically search for something, anything, to help me recognize where I am.

Relax, idiot. You’re at Noah's house.

I calm myself down enough to recognize the change in my vision.

Whoa.

I get up and look for a mirror. When I finally find one, I am shocked at what I see.

My pupil is rimmed in a gray color while my green iris has been replaced by a purple black gradient. Again, whoa.

I walk to the living room and find Elliot tinkering with a pile of spare parts.

"Umm... What are you doing Elliot?" I ask.

He looks up and stares at my eyes.

"Another transformation?"

I nod.

"What does it do?"

I shrug.

"What are you doing?" I ask, pointing to the pile of parts.

"Oh, I tried making a robot hand to help me with drum practice. What?" he adds at my quizzical look.

"My mind wanders sometimes. Anyway it doesn't matter. I'm not a genius." He sighs, leaning back in defeat.

I sit down next to him and pick up two pieces in my hands.

Suddenly, it's like the blue prints were implanted in my brain.

I pick up the pieces and put them together like I've done it a million times.

Finally, I'm sitting in front of a fully operational robot hand as it waves back and forth and picks up a nearby drum stick.

"Whoa. I didn't know you were smart." Says Elliot.

"Gee thanks."

"You’re welcome."

"I have no idea how I did that. Maybe it's the eyes."

"Yeah, maybe. But that is so cool. You got to show me how you did that."

I shrug and leave the room just to get called back by Noah.
