Maybe I over exaggerated a bit. I saw him unmoving in the floor and I didn't once consider that he might be unconscious or paralyzed. I'm so sorry. I should've thought about that. I think through the link.
Yeah. You should've. Rain’s angered voice booms through my head.
You also should've thought of telling me that I might die today. You told everyone except for me and Soal.
Crap. I forgot they would be telepathic if I was.
"Look, Rain. We didn't tell you because of what happened just now." Noah speaks to the boy leaning on his shoulders.
"It wasn't real. Why did you need to worry?"
"Cause it could have been. I could have died and I wouldn't have been able to prevent it because I didn't know."
"I'm sorry. It won't happen again. We're a team. We tell each other everything." Says Alex.
I nod and stay quiet for the rest of the night. I can't shake the feeling that something's not right.
