Xavier's pov.
Sitting here in the empty lab while the guards scramble around looking for the long gone intruders is surprisingly relaxing. I have time to think. Right now, I am moving the water back and forth between two cups without touching anything. Yup. That's right. I'm a brainiac. I can do stuff with my brain. Telekinesis is just one of them.
Suddenly, everything around me seems to slow down. The yells outside get lower and lower until they come to a complete stop. The water stops it midair and hangs there, unmoving, without me controlling it.
"Hello Xavier." Booms a deep voice.
"My name is Beelzebub. You may call me master from now on."
"Why would I do that?" I ask. Who does this guy think he is?
"Ah. The answer is simple. I can kill you easily. But, no. That's not enough, is it? I can capture your knew friend's son and kill him. Imagine how sad he will be when he finds out that his baby is dead. And then to find out that you could of stopped it, but you chose not to? Imagine what that would do to him. And then, I'd slowly torture him to death. Oh it would be so much fun! But I'm going to give you the chance to stop me. All you have to do is what I say." He laughs maniacally. This is the guy who threatened Daniel?
I sit silently for a while before answering.
"What do you want me to do... master?" I ask threw gritted teeth. What else can I do? I have to protect Daniel. He protected me.
"Oh nothing yet. Oh but one more thing. You will tell no one of this little... Arrangement. And trust me I will know if you do." And with that, he is gone. I take a deep breath and go back to my water, listening to the calming sound of frantic guards.
