By the time we got back into the car it was already into the early morning hours.
I have taken several rides on Noah's back as he flew into the night sky and I must say. It is probably the best feeling I've felt.
It is like swimming. You feel weightless and free, like you are no longer bound to the rules of gravity. The wind rushing through your hair. It's like a roller coaster when you drop down at a steep angle. It truly makes you feel like you can forget all your problems and move on with life. Makes you feel like you are something bigger than what you already are. It makes you feel powerful.
Though I wouldn't recommend it to people who are afraid of heights.
As I lay falling asleep on Noah's lap, the low rumble of the car's wheels on the smooth pavement helping to push me there, one thought did laps in my mind.
I wish I could do that.
