"We are here!" Jess yelled.
He began slowing down and then slid me off of his back and put me down next to him. When he grabbed my hand, I felt a tingly feeling again. It was probably because he was my protector, but it felt more powerful than that.
"Wow, it's really nice here, you actually live here?" I asked.
He replied laughing "Yes, I do. Well, I guess you like it?"
"Are you kidding? I love it!" I yelled.
The bungalow was so beautiful, it had lots of windows, similar to a sun room. The front door was made out of wood from the jungle and he had a built-in library that I could see through the windows. The roof was all made out of window and sunshine was shining through the top and into the bungalow.
"Come on, you need to come see Patricia." He gently pulled on my hand to follow him inside and I obeyed.
He opened the door for me and I slowly walked in admiring all the windows and the sun rays pouring inside. I glanced over to the book shelves and noticed that he had quite the collection.
"You read books?" I asked.
"Nah, I just keep these for decoration..." He laughed when he saw my face then said "I'm just joking! Of course I love books!"
"Haha, so funny." I replied dryly.
"Come on, I think Patricia is upstairs. But, whatever you do, don't call her Pat. She hates it when people call her that."
We walked up the see-through stairs and when we got to the top, I didn't see anyone.
"Um, you said there's a woman named Patricia?" I asked a little concerned.
"Oh god, where is she? She said she would be here waiting. She was on her way when I contacted her! Let me see if I can get into contact with her, hold on."
I stood there looking at him and he was staring at the floor, I wondered what it was like being able to contact someone just by using your brain.
"Uh oh! My mother has her hostage. She wants me to turn you in for Patricia. You're going to have to do your mission now so that you can become an Outcast. Follow me!"
He hauled me over his back and went out of the upstairs area and back out the door to the outside area of the bungalow. Then, he went to a door that was in the ground, and opened it.
"I need you to walk down the steps and turn on the light. I'll be right behind you. I need you in front of me so that I can catch you in case you fall."
