"Protector?" I asked.
"Yes, every new member of the Outcasts gets a protector."
"So, where are we going again?"
He replied with a deep breath, "Dang, you ask a lot of questions."
"Can you just answer my question?" I asked with a little desperation.
He chuckled then started talking again. "I'm taking you to my bungalow. There, you will meet another important person that will be a big part of your life. Her name is Patricia, she will be your 'eyes and ears'. She really wants to meet you so I told her to go to the bungalow and I'll meet her there."
"Wait, I didn't see you talk to anyone... How did you know something bad was going to happen?"
"Well, I just told her.... All Outcasts can communicate with each other even through distance. I guess you could call it 'telepathy' if you don't know what I'm talking about." He explained.
"That's so cool!" I yelled.
"Yup, and soon you will be able to as well, now let's get to the bungalow, hold on tight!" He said excitedly.
"Okay I'm ready!" I yelled.
