I gasped and yelled, "Oh my gosh! That's horrible!"
"That's why I got so upset when she mentioned leaving your family. I care about you and I don't want her destroying you and your family like she did to me." He said looking at our hands that were attached by a love-lock.
"So if that was 30 years ago... How old are you? Around 40 would have to be the youngest that you are now."
"No, I'm 45, I was the same age as you when I came here. Then, I became an outcast at 18. When you become an Outcast, you age until exactly 20 years old. Then, your body stops developing."
"So, back to the part with the aging... And you said that I not 15 anymore, so how old am I then?" I asked curiously.
"You're 17. When you come here, you age quicker.... That's why I've been rushing your training. It helps Outcasts keep their age, believe it or not, when hosts age quicker here."
"So I've been here for how long and I'm already 17?"
"Only a week." He answered while he squeezed my hand.
