SYDNEY's POV

Phone ringing...

"Megaaaaan!" Sydney shouted from the line. Geeez. Kaka answer ko lang ng call.

"What's going on?" I asked with a sleepy voice

"I passed the exam!!"

I rubbed my eyes as I sat on the edges of my bed. "That's good news." I smiled

"I know! I already told mom!!"

"Okay... okay love." I exhaled. Half sleepy, half excited. "How about we celebrate? What do u wanna do?"

"I dont know. I don't know... Im just too excited right kow. Can you drop by? Like right now? Mom is in Davao. May conference at work ulit sya eh."

"Okay, Sydney. Wait lang."

I took a shower. Paglabas ko, tumatawag agad si Sydney. "Meeeeeg! Asan ka na?!"

"Relax, Sydney. Naligo lang ako." I chuckled. "Just wait for me there, okay?"

I drove near the flower shop to buy her flowers. A champagne and ice cream.. chocolate ice cream.

"Bakit may dala ka nanaman na flowers? You already sent me one this morning ha." Sabi nya after ko sya hinalikan sa noo nya

Nagtaka ako. I saw a box of flowers on her table. "Hindi ako nagbigay nyan."

Sino kaya tong hayop na inunahan ako?

"Who are these people?" I asked

"Jasper, med rep sa hospital. Si Z, I believe it was Zoey. Nurse sa intern ko dati."

As much as I wanted to throw them away... it's a gift for Sydney. "What do you wanna do?" I asked again. Naiinis ako.

"I dont know. Watch movies?"

Sydney's head is on my chest. I simply lay here, bored. Nag eenjoy lang ako sa sound ng pag nguya nya ng chips.

"Ang cute talaga ng movie na 'to." She mumbled. Pang ilang beses na namin sigurong napanuod itong The Vow na 'to.

"Mmm." I just mumbled.

"Nakakatuwa sigurong ikasal ng ganito sa trip nila." She chuckled. "Meg?"

"Mmmmm?" Matipid ko ulit na sagot

"Pag ginawa bang legal ni Duterte ang same sex marriage, pakakasalan mo ba ako?" Tanong nya
