Two Faced

Chapter 7

Luna's P.O.V.

It had been a few hours after I met Jacob and he had told me that there was a hideout where our family was waiting for us. But we still hadn't found anything and I felt that my body couldn't take any more steps.

"Hey, Jacob can we just... stop for a moment... please?" Jacob turned around. "Yeah sure... Are you alright, because you look a bit pale?" When he said that something snapped inside of me...

"Actually, no I'm not alright! I'm tired and I can feel my body aching with every step I take! Then there are my parents! My parents... My own goddamn parents have known it for all those years and yet they were too scared to tell me what I am! And all this time they've treated me like a five year old and for what? To protect me? That's fucking bullshit!" I was breathing heavily and had my fists clenched together.

"Luna please, you have to calm down or you will turn into your alien form." Jacob said in a soft voice. I looked at him surprised. "Excuse me?" "You don't have the complete control over your alien form yet, and you will turn depending on your emotions. And you will turn if you're angry."

I looked at him in disbelief. "You're kidding right?" "No I am not! Just trust me for once!" he yelled at me. I looked down and saw that his hands were shaking, just a little but enough for me to see.

'He is scared of me... He is afraid I'll turn and attack him...

I looked back at him and said emotionless: "You are afraid of me" "What are you saying?! No of course I am not afraid of you! You're my sister for gods sake!" "Then why are your hands shaking?" "My what?" He looked at his hands and I could hear him curse in my mind.

I walked up to him and grabbed him roughly by his collar. I could see he was surprised by my sudden action but I also could see the fear in his eyes. "You are afraid of me! You think I'll turn in my alien form and kill you! Admit it!" I screamed at him.

What I didn't know was that what Jacob had said was true and I was slowly turning into my alien form. Jacob was trembling under my hands and was about to say anything, but before he could I was pushed to the side by an incredibly powerful force.

My body crashed into a tree and I spaced out for a second. And in that mere moment, I saw a creature just like me running towards me with inhuman speed.

I tried to get up before it could get to me, but I was too late. The creature grabbed both my wrists and forcefully pushed me against the tree. It towered over me even when we were standing on the same ground.

Although it looked like I was afraid, I was certainly not. And I was not going to get killed by this thing. I was resisting its hold on me and tried to free myself from its grip. I could feel that the creature was surprised by my resistance, but it wasn't gonna let go of me either.

'You are so fragile...' "Wha- Who said that?" I was confused for hearing another voice then Jacobs in my head. I looked around searching for the owner of the voice and the creature took advantage of that.

'No! Zira stop it! Don't do it!' I heard Jacob screaming in my head. That was the last thing I heard before I was pulled into the darkness.

Jacobs P.O.V.

I looked at the scene playing I front of me. Luna was resisting Zira's powerful grip and I could see that Zira was not too happy about that. So Zira tried to confuse Luna.
