Raven screamed as Clarke cauterized her gunshot wound.

"That'll stop the external bleeding." Clarke said, putting the knife down.

"I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asked. Guns in this camp were very well guarded, only a few people had access to them.

"Long story." Bellamy replied.

"We got lucky." Raven said faintly, "If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead."

"Wait, there's rocket fuel down there? Enough to build a bomb?" Clarke asked, intrigued.

"Enough to build a hundred bombs. If we had any gunpowder left." Raven replied.

"Let's get back to the Reapers." Bellamy said. I shuddered. "Maybe they'll help us. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right?" He asked.

"Not this enemy." I said quietly. Reapers weren't known for "making friends" .

"Yeah, we saw them. Trust me, It's not an option." Clarke replied.

"There's no time for this. Can she walk or not?" Finn asked Clarke.

"No, we'll have to carry her." Clarke replied.

"The hell you will. I'm good to go." Raven said, attempting to get up.

"Hey, listen to me. That bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe. But you are not walking there. Is that clear?" Clarke said to Raven.

Raven nodded her head and agreed faintly.

"I'll get the stretcher." Finn said, making his way to the door.

"Can't run away fast enough, huh? Real brave." Bellamy said to Finn. Finn turned back around towards Bellamy.

"Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, Bellamy, it's stupid." Finn replied. Bellamy stepped closer to him until they were face to face.

"Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight." Bellamy replied.

"Hey, that's enough." I said, stepping between them before it could escalate. "It's time to go."

"If they follow? It's a 120-mile walk from here to the ocean." Bellamy replied.

"Look, we're wasting time. If he wants to stay, he can stay." Finn said as he walked towards the door.

"No he can't!" Clarke replied, following him out.

I turned towards Bellamy.

"We can't do this without you, Bellamy." I said.

"What do you want me to say, Joyla?"

"I want you to say that you're with us. Those kids out there, they listen to you." I replied.

"They're all lining up to go. They listen to Clarke more." He responded.

"She gave them an easy choice. But five minutes ago, they were willing to fight and die for you. You inspire them. And, I think we're going to need that before this day if through." I said turning to leave.

"I was going to do it, you know." Bellamy said, stopping me in my tracks. I turned to him.

"Do what?" I asked.

"I was packing some things this morning when I saw you didn't come back. I was ready to leave but then Murphy happened and...I kinda got held up." He answered. I thought back to his promise and smiled softly.
