"You stupid girl." He hissed at me. I cackled and spat blood at his shoes. After that spell failing on me, Hook thought it would be a good idea to smack me around a little bit. Luckily, I was stronger. I will always be stronger than this ass wipe.
"Did you really, really think that a spell like that would even work on me?" I panted, looking up at Hook. "I know how to protect myself, Hook. I know how to protect myself from a fight." I hissed at him, pulling at the restraints on my wrists. "A spell that powerful can't hurt me. I know." I looked at the ground and shook my head. This is unbelievable! I am going to die down here. I shouldn't've turned Maxwell into a daisy. I shouldn't've brought her here when I had known something would've happened. I'm going to die and it's all my damn fault.
"That spell is one of the most powerful spells in existence. It should take out anyone!" Hook shouted, stepping up to me and placing his hands on either side of my head and looking at me directly. "I can take anything I want."
"Then. Do. It." I spat at his face. Blood decorated his face in splatter marks. "If I have anything you want, take it." I panted, looking up at him. "I have nothing. I have a van that's from the 80s. A car, that doesn't even work. And a bunch of spell books that I have read, hundreds of times. I know more spells and potions than you will ever know." I sneered. Hook cackled in return.
"Do you really think I'm a 30 year old man from a Po Dunk Town!?" He shouted at me. "More than 100 years have I been around and never have I met someone as annoying as you!" He backed away before pointing a finger at me. I felt something make its way up my esophagus and into my mouth. It tasted like metal. It was thick. I spat it out on the ground and looked at the ground. Blood...
"What did you do to me?" I asked, already feeling weak.
"Just, you know... Stage 5 Stomach Cancer along with a blood parasite that will most likely kill you if the Cancer doesn't first." He smirked, leaning against the wall that was just behind him. He chuckled a little bit before turning to leave me alone in the smelly dungeon place. "Don't think about using your powers either! You're too sick. Too weak to even bother." He shouted before a loud shunk noise echoed around me. I whimpered.
I am most likely going to die down here and no one will notice.
{***}
I felt my life draining with every breath I took and every second that passed. I'm most certainly on the brink of death. Maybe I should've helped Maxwell. I would probably be just fine and not dying or dead.
I should not have come to this town. If I had taken the normal route home, I would be fine. I just had to take a short cut...
I looked at my wrists, they were pinned just by my shoulders. "Alohomora." I whispered. You know the author of that Harry Potter series? She has magic. Good ole' J. K.
All the chains that were holding me down, unlocked and fell to the ground, with me not to far behind. I pushed my weak body up off the ground and crawled towards the door. When I made it out of the house, I went towards the center of town. Blood was surely in my wake and I would be found in a matter of minutes. Hopefully by the right person and not Hook.
