"Come on, Wyatt. It's just a joke. I thought I made that clear yesterday." Olivia sneered.

"Well, it's not funny, Leave her alone." He demanded. It's kind of scary how hard his voice was towards her.

"Fine..." She looked over at me almost as if to say, 'I'm not done with you...'.

"Come with me." Wyatt says, taking my arm into his muscular one. Lifting me up from my designated spot on the ground. Swaying like a boat in water, I groaned as we walked to the doors of the school.

"Are you okay?" He questioned.

"I was fine..."

"She hit you, and you fell to the ground, and now you have a swelling red welt on your cheek... You're not alright and you weren't fine." he bellowed.

I stood in place behind the door where we abruptly stopped so he could try to give me a lecture.

"Why do you care?" I bluntly state.

"No one should be treated that way." His voice is sweet and soft, like sugar cubes melting in your coffee.

"No... You're lying."

"Me, explaining I care, is lying?" His confusion clear in his voice.

"Yes... No one ever cares..." I whisper the last part to myself. The face he made in surprise leads me to believe otherwise.

"I-" before he could say much more, I turn on my heels and run down the hall. The white walls blurring in my vision, due to the act of running down the hall. The lockers lining the walls green and bright, with no detail. I speed past them all in a hurry to get out of reach from Wyatt.

My body is knocked back and I fall on my butt once again today. My mouth lets out a fumble of words as I feel, and my bum makes contact with the ground. "I hate you, ground. I think I need a permanent cushion stuck to my but for times like this."

"Are you okay?" A boy's voice is heard from above me. My head shifts up and I see a blue-eyed blonde boy standing over top of me.

"NO, I'M NOT. IS THAT WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR?" I scream, frustrated that I have been asked that so many times today, when it usually is a thing, I don't hear whatsoever.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean for you to get hurt!" He rambles feeling of concern reeking from his body language. "You just came running down the hallway and I didn't see you..."

"Listen, I don't care... I'm in a rush." I look behind me hoping not to see Wyatt is running after me. To my pleasure he was wasn't there, but I could hear the running steps and shortage of breathes coming from around the corner I didn't remember turning. "I'm sorry for bumping into you." I fumble with my hand to stand on my feet once again and start out into a lustful jog down the hall again.

"Don't be." I was hit with confusion, again another boy was being nice to me and showing his concern for me. It was just too foreign.

Don't fall for it, Anna. They are all the same.

They don't care.
