Genre underStanding - Part II

Random is a genre of no specific topic inserted. Or the idea has no place to consider or categorize according to it.

Examples are: Cook book, Magazines, Baby book, Mother's book, Encyclopedia, Knowledgeable reading materials (katulad nito), and so on.

Classic is a form of reading material that is all originally made from original kind. It is a kind that is already there and only transfer to media.

Or, it can also be a subject that is purely from the past and you're writing it like it was made a long time ago.

Short Story - mostly made up of some anecdote.

It is mostly true incident given only a short compilation of important and lessoned learned experiences. It can be of anything.

Spiritual - is sometime used for self-cultivating or self-exploration not only for God, but also for self-adjustment.

Spiritual is not only bible verses or bible passages. It is also a personal recollection of thoughts and beliefs and evaluation of oneself.

It can be a true story with a journey of life.

FANFIC - fanatic fiction story

Magkaiba ang fanatic story sa original story.

Kaya nga may fanfic na category ang Wattpad dahil alam nila na ganoon ang madalas na mangyari.

Ang FANFIC category ay hindi ibig sabihin na Actors and Actresses fan ka nina Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo, Julia Montes, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Alden at yaya Dub. 

Ang FANFIC ay Fanatic Fiction Story.

*You are a fan of the story that you are making it and writing it like the original one, but still your story is as much as the same of the plot. So, that means your story is a fanfic.

Palaging ilagay sa isip na ang isang istoryang dati nang nakasulat na tinutularan mo lang ay hindi kailanman magiging Original Story.

Romance - is tackling about love and fate of two different personality, giving their differences journey to resolve it and made it to end for a happy ending.

Horror - everything about the topic are murderous and bloody.

Mystery/Thriller - is mistakenly use genre for some writing materials that has mystery in the content.

Mystery or Thriller is a genre tackles the solving of one mysterious activity or a suspicious kind of person or treasure maps involving in a story.

Sometimes it is commonly attributed with adventures.

Vampire - talks about vampires and their kinds.

Or even other kind of monsters.
Sometimes we encloses Vampires with Romance, Vampires and Werewolf, Vampires and Fantasy, Vampires as Horror.

Werewolf - is a genre that tackles about human-wolf, a tribe of their kind and their seniority.

Some writers here (Filipino writers) don't know really what they are writing.

They write this genre, but in some part of their writing there's no tracks of becoming wolf or wolf into human. No fight scene, but lots of romancing of their kind.

The writing has non sense.
The topic has nothing to do with the wolf-man, (he-wolf or she-wolf protagonist). They had no purpose portraying for the role because the writer was just playing for them to meet and multiply.

Paranormal - an out of this world kind of writing. It can be true story, but most of it are from our wildest imagination.

It can work in all other genre.

At lahat nang nabasa ninyo ay dapat na mayroong halaga kahit na ba isang uri lamang iyan ng kathang-isip.

Laging ilagay sa isip na ang bawat ginagawa mo ay may halaga. Hindi upang ipagkalat na marunong ka nang sumulat at bumasa ay sapat na iyon. Sayang naman na pumasok ka sa paaralan at lumabas na walang natutunan.

Kung minsan ang debate mo sa iyong guro ay wala palang silbi lalo noong panahon na pasaway ka sa paningin niya at ngayon nagbunga na.

Sana'y kapulutan ng kaalaman ang sulating ito.

"There is always room for improvement." Turo sa amin ng guro namin sa Values Education o Christian Living sa ibang tawag.
