Marami sa mga sumusulat ng novel na hindi alam gamitin ang prologue. Naglalagay sila ng prologue, pero ang laman ay eksena ng pangyayari na gusto nilang isulat lang doon dahil iyon ang middle of the story or iyon ang almost ending of the story. Mali ang kaisipang ito.

Sa prologue malalaman kung ano ang laman ng isang story, hindi doon isinusulat ang mga usapan na lalamanin ng story sa gitna. Dahil mula umpisa ay may kinalaman sa takbo ng istorya na naisipan mo.
