Cassie
Well, I'm bored. And I have nothing to do, since I've finished all my work. I have my earbuds in, listening to music. I yawn. Gosh, this class is boring, I think as Disenchanted finishes and silence replaces it. It's only first period!
I shouldn't have stayed up so late last night. Normally when I stay up so late it's a weekend, and even then I usually struggle to keep my eyes open past 11pm. But I've never felt more awake in my life. Maybe it's the coffee, but it's probably the fact that there are so many thoughts racing around my mind I have to close my eyes for a second. "Focus, Cassie." I tell myself firmly. I calm myself and my breathing slows, my mind clearing.
The thoughts fade until there is just one question left - Why? Why was Mikey here, in my town? And what did he mean by 'Found her'? He must have been talking about me - he was looking right at me. Found her - he was looking for me. I realise I'm about to fall off my chair and shuffle back a little, my head spinning and try to reassure myself. I guess I just got freaked out, I muse. Look on the bright side, I tell myself. I saw Mikey Way! I mean, we didn't talk and he was kind of looking for me which I still can't explain. I guess I'll just have to wait.
I lean back and state out of the window, praying to escape from my mind and into the blissful ignorance of daydreams. I suddenly realize I'm going to mess up my makeup if I rub my eyes like I'm tempted to do. That's the downside of being emo trash - so much of your time is taken up by makeup. I quickly fix my pale mask of foundation then touch up the thick eyeliner framing my blue-grey eyes. "There, now you look like a normal emo person," I say to myself.
The bell rings. I stumble back through the dark corridor to my next class, still unsettled. I lay last night's assignment on my desk and realize just how tired I am. Yawning, I settle into my seat, close my eyes and drift away.
